Through CARE we try to Create a better life for pets and pet owners by raising Awareness about animals in need, getting people to take more Responsibility for their pets, and helping to Educate them before they take on a new animal. Not only are we a rescue that save animals in need, but we also want to try to prevent

more animals from ending up on the streets or in the shelter through knowledge. By educating people on what goes into taking care of pets, the difference in breeds and how one breed can be a better fit for a certain lifestyle than another, and about how many amazing animals are in the shelters, we hope we can start to lower the number of pets that are killed every day. It is important for people to know how many great animals are euthanized each year because of irresponsible people and bad pet owners, not bad pets. By helping to change one person at a time, we can save one animal at a time.

Happy Fourth of July from Nali (and all of us)!❤️

We're still looking for Nali's forever home - can you help share our posts?!

Nali is a 6 year old kitty that we welcomed back to the rescue a few months ago. She was first rescued in August of 2020, raised as a bottle baby, and adopted a couple months after.

Nali is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. She is on a prescription food due to past urinary issues, and we are glad to report that her recent urinalysis came back perfect.

Nali had her checkup at on May 9 and we are happy to share that overall her health is great!

While Nali does not like going to the vet at all, we are thankful to her foster and the amazing folks at the clinic for taking such good care of her through the exam and bloodwork. 💖

Nali is on a prescription food due to past urinary issues, and we are so glad that her urinalysis came back perfect. We are going to test out a calming supplement to assist Nali with settling in at her foster home with her foster cat siblings.

Flashback to 2020 and the utter cuteness that was Nali's family! Nali and her 4 siblings were rescued when they were so small that we had to bottle feed them all. Nali was the tiniest of the crew. 😺

We recently welcomed back one of our bottle babies to the rescue - Denali "Nali." She was first rescued in August of 2020 and adopted a couple months after.

Late last year, we found out that Nali's adopter had posted her on a rehoming/adoption website, which shocked us and broke our hearts. Our rescue contracts require that adopters return the kitty to our rescue so we can ensure they find a safe, good home. After several months of communicating with them and trying to provide resources, the adopter decided she no longer wanted Nali. We are thankful they communicated with us and gave us the chance to help our girl.

We are grateful to Nali's original foster mom , for stepping up and agreeing to take her in all these years later. Even sweeter, Cat (foster mom) had adopted Nali's lookalike sister as a kitten as well.

We will have more posts regarding how her personality continues to blossom, her veterinary updates, and more. For now, please enjoy Nali as a tiny baby! 😺
