๐พ **DILLIโs Big New England Adventure** ๐พ
Hi friends, DILLI here.
I would like everyone to know that I am now a very well-traveled terrier.
My mum drove **two whole days** to take me on an adventure, and Grandma came too โ because apparently she had been wanting to meet *me*. Understandable. I am kind of a big deal.
Before we made it to Vermont, we stopped in **Maine**, where I experienced several very important firsts.
First, I saw my very first waterfall. I studied it carefully and decided it was loud, wet, and probably not something I could catch.
Then I went to the beach with my mum, where I investigated the sand, the air, the mysterious smells, and one very suspicious rock that smelledโฆ weird. Naturally, I gave it my full terrier attention.
And then came dinner.
At Sea Salt, I got my **own salmon dinner off the menu**. It was served on a take-home frisbee, which I felt was a very classy and practical presentation. Unfortunately, mum only gave me **one-third** of my salmon, which I would like the record to show felt deeply unfair. I am still considering my options.
After all that exploring, sniffing, beach walking, salmon tasting, and general supervision, I tucked myself into my blankets and passed out like the hardworking little traveler I am.
Then we headed to **Dog Mountain in Vermont**, which sounded like exactly the sort of place a terrier should inspect thoroughly.
Unfortunately, just as I was preparing for my grand trail adventure, it started raining.
Apparently, this meant we were โnot doing the trails today.โ
I disagreed, obviously.
Still, I posed for my picture, took in what I could, and remained very gracious under difficult circumstances. Adventuring is hard work, especially when humans make questionable weather-based decisions.
Big trip. Big smells. Big memories.
And yes, I would still like the rest of my salmon. ๐๐พ
