Good news! We now have a new confirmed date for our next LOOPS Equine Rescue Methods Training with Dr. John Madigan, DVM, from UC Davis.

Please join us for a free, exclusive equine rescue training event with renowned veterinarian Dr. John Madigan. Learn essential techniques and strategies for safely saving trapped horses using the LOOPS Equine Sling System.

When: September 27, 2025 10am to 2pm
Where: Earl Warren Showgrounds 3400 Calle Real, SB

A great opportunity!

The CDS Adult Amateur Clinic is this weekend, May 23-25, at Twin Rivers Ranch. Come meet Lilo Fore, encourage the riders and learn from this educational clinic. SLO CDS chapter members riding in the clinic are Mauri Anderson, Elise Cutini, Brooke Doss, Cyndi Havard and Stacie Rice.

Tentative Schedule is as follows:

Friday Night: 5:30 Pizza Party and Meet and Greet sponsored by SLO-CDS
In the seating area near show office
BYOB (water provided)

Saturday: 8:00-4:00 Ride times
In covered arena
Bring a chair, food and beverage
5:00 BBQ (Tri-Tip, Chicken & Corn) BYOB (water provided)

Sunday: 8:00-4:00 Ride times
In covered arena
Bring a chair, food and beverage

Auditing is free for CDS members and $20 for non CDS members,

A lot of firsts this weekend!!! Congrats to Lisa And Stella on their very first outing at training level together - knocking it out of the park with a 74.4% and 67%. 🥇💪🏻. Way to go Emily and Riley two blues and a big score of 68% to win T-3 today… 🥇🥂Tim and Madiero had their first show debut proving Madi is a solid showman and the judges love him. 💕🐴And most importantly we had a lot of Fun!!! (That is not a first 😂). Thanks California Dressage Society-Santa Barbara County Chapter for hosting another great show!
