Meet Vienna — a beautiful 2-year-old Norwegian Elkhound/Shepherd mix with the most soulful spirit. Vienna made a long, difficult journey from abroad after surviving poor street conditions, and she’s now finally safe and ready for the life she’s always deserved.

She is missing one eye, but it doesn’t slow her down or dull her gentle heart one bit. Shy at first, Vienna warms up with good treats and kindness and blossoms into a loving, loyal companion. She has been through so much and is more than ready for a home filled with love, comfort, and security.

Viking is a very sweet 11 month old pup that is approx 50lbs. He came to us as an owner surrender with his siblings Baja and Tazi (also adoptable)

Viking is the very best of boys. He is extremely sweet and well mannered. He has a great demeanor in busy settings, even when meeting new people or dogs, and is absolutely a great dog to bring on outings.

Meet the sweetest boy Martin. He’s an approx 1.5 yr & 30lb Sheltie mix. Left out in dumping grounds with other dogs, Martin was taken in by an independent rescuer. He was malnourished, dirty, and extremely shy.

Fast forward to today and Martin has grown into his beautiful coat and is learning to trust again. He doesn’t quite understand how to be a puppy just yet but he is extremely sweet and he’s making great strides. He’s currently being fostered with other dogs of all sizes and will melt into your touch, once he gets to know you.

We’d love to get Martin into a home with someone who will continue to love on him and bring out his personality full time and have a playful dog that will help teach him how to be a puppy.

Petey is an adorable 4-year-old Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua mix weighing just under 14 pounds, and he’s ready to find his forever home! Don’t let his small size fool you—this little guy loves going on walks and would make a great hiking or adventure buddy. He’s also perfectly happy tossing a toy around and playing fetch with himself if no one’s around to join in. When it’s time to wind down, he’s a total snuggle bug who loves curling up with his foster dog siblings or nestling into a cozy lap.

Meet Huckleberry
Huckleberry is a lovable 3–4 year old Labrador Retriever weighing around 60 pounds, with a gentle soul and an eager-to-please heart. He came to the Moreno Valley shelter after being found as a stray alongside another lab; sadly, his companion was hit by a car. Despite everything he’s been through, Huckleberry remains incredibly sweet and trusting.

This good boy already knows how to sit and offer his adorable paw, and he lives for a good game of fetch. He walks nicely on leash, appears to be potty trained, and has that classic Lab mix of calm affection and playful joy. Huckleberry loves human connection and seems happiest when he’s by your side, soaking up attention and showing off what a great companion he can be.

Huckleberry is ready for a second chance — a soft place to land, a family to love, and a future filled with walks, fetch sessions, and plenty of belly rubs.

Muffin is approx 6 years old and 11lbs. We can’t imagine why no one claimed her after she was picked up as a stray because she is such a delight of a dog. She is well-behaved in a home setting and has an easy-going demeanor.

Muffin gets along with other dogs and extremely sweet and docile when meeting new people. She is house-trained and does great on walks and on the leash. She is a cuddler and will sleep next to you at night.

For the past week, Angel has been in post-surgery recovery mode. She is being loved on, cuddled on, and treated with so much love. Your donations and good vibes saved her life and got her a better haircut where her skin and fur are healing nicely.

While her physical recovery is promising, we’re still working on the financial part of her recovery.

Attention small dog lovers! Disney needs a foster or forever home. He came into the shelter with his son, Wrigley, who just got adopted, leaving him all alone.

While he was never bonded with his son, Disney loved being around Wrigley. He hasn’t made any new friends at the rescue since and while he is co-existing just fine with the other dogs, he just secludes himself to a bed by himself. 😩😭

Disney is one of the most affectionate boys. He is under 10lbs and approx 3 years old. He is such a lover and a cuddler.
