Tonight marked the end of an era - this evening we had to say goodbye to the real OG of Fresno Bully Rescue, and the toughest most special dog to bow-leggedly walk this earth - the one and only, Bon Bon 💜 (aka uncle Bon Bon Jovi, Bonaroo, Bon Chi) 🌈 Bon was rescued by FBR back in early 2008 after spending the first 7 years of his life tied to a tree with an embedded collar around his neck. He lived in a kennel at the shelter until January of 2014, when FBR director, Bridgette and her husband, Ryan, brought him home to live with them as a foster. In May of 2016 they made it official and adopted him. Bonny enjoyed his days napping in the sun and barking at their pot belly pig, Hamlet. He loved eating all kinds of fruit like apples & strawberries. We will all miss his raspy low bark and his sweet, nippy, love nibbles. Thank you to everyone who followed his adventures all these years here on this page. He was less than 1 week shy of his 18th Birthday so we’re just gonna go ahead and call it 18 because he earned that badge! We love you Bon forever and always 💜
