Team Godwin showed up and showed out at the Denton County Livestock Fair this past week!

Logan placed first and second in his Angus heifer’s age division, and Porter brought the heat with a second-place finish in his class and went on to win Champion Novice Showman, taking home the buckle and one proud smile that hasn’t left since! 🤠

We’re incredibly proud of the hard work these boys have put in all season long. Huge thanks to everyone who’s supported them along the way. Time to celebrate a great finish to show season!

Not the way you would like to get woke up this morning!

Everyone is safe and all the horses were safely tucked in their stalls. We just finished rounding up Porters Corner’s animals and all are safe and accounted for. Had several of our animal shelters damaged due to the high winds. Unfortunately, had some pretty good damage to the mobile home, hay barn and our rabbit enclosure but the rest is just a bunch of of mess to clean up. Thank goodness for the power of prayer and God’s grace. Hope everyone of you affected by this storm is safe as well.
