Five-time Olympian Michael Plumb spotted 6-year-old Emily Grace Swinson peeping over the rail and gave her a proposition: If she could get a particularly tricky horse he’d been working with to rein back, he’d train her.

Earning blue ribbons in the Ariat Medal (Amateur), the USHJA Jump Seat Medal (combined) and the Bryan Jones Medal. NCHJA Annual Horse Show is a wrap! We had a fabulous time! Thanks to everyone for putting together a great horse show! So proud of all the horses and riders! Emily Grace Swinson and her Don Sandro had a fabulous show….winning the 2024 Bryan Jones and the 2023 Bryan Jones Equitation Medal Finals! Monogram finished well, winning the Classic. Sarah had some great trips with her Aragon and her new mount Captain. A little heat and a little (not so little storm), but we survived it all and will come back and do it again next year!
