Pyro slaying it in the cheetah and fringe tripping collar, and stitch looking classy in the black and white Pendleton breast collar🖤🤍
Both these are salvage pieces I pulled from. $5 tack bins that are all dry and cracked. I cleaned em, fixed em, and then I upgraded with fringe and new leather or Pendleton fronts!

Here it is!!! Come join us in this opportunity to grow your skills, shave down times, and build confidence!
Barrels and poles will be hosted by Cassie Pierce professional barrel racer, Western horseman of Oregon Hall of Famer, and local trainer
Sled/ dummy breakaway roping will be instructed by Jordyn Quinn , Our 2026 Clackamas county rodeo queen, manager or j bar l ranch, and npra competitor.

This will set as a schooling show going from drills to a small competition between attendees with prizes in each class and age group!

Clackamas County Fair & Event Center

🤠 Two age groups
15 and up for regular class ( 10 spots per class)
14 and under for jr classes ( 5 per class)

November 29th

⭐ 8:00 check in
⭐8:30barrels ( everyone) start
⭐10:30 poles and jr roping
⭐12:30 Jr poles and roping
⭐2:30 awards

Join us November 29th for a three part clinic, with barrels and poles hosted by Cassie Pierce and the sled roping by our very own Jordyn Quinn!
This will be a great day of learning, building confidence and cutting down times! Sign up for one or all three, we have two different age groups and prizes in each class!

If you know me you know I'm fairly frugal and most things especially in the horse world are marked up extremely high on the premise you have horses so you should be able to pay .....
We'll that ain't true for this barrel racer on a budget!

Not only in the process of making something do I usually find it's not as expensive to make as they are sold, also ways to improve design that fit my needs.

That was definitely the case with pyro pearls! There's alot of different curb strap options right now with this honestly classic design. But I promise to do the best quality in manufacturing, and always keep prices to what is affordable for what the product is always!

Pyro pearls in color!
Stitch is so light and smooth under saddle and has amazing stops but he always lifts his nose up if you use to much rein. With the pearls he stays tucked and level!

So Pyro has alopecia and not only has pigment loss she also has very sensitive skin. I've Always had to wrap any curb strap chain, or leather because it would rub her raw under her chin with how it lays with a S hackamore .
Recently with cold weather that raw spot came back from wearing a sleezy every night😭
So we switched to a hood and wanted to find a better option for Long term curb strap so we could get back to riding. With it in the healing process again the vet wrap is even to much.
The answer?! Metal beads that resemble Navajo pearls are a classic option that have actually been used for years but recently gained popularity. It is sturdy, gives pressure without causing irritation or pinching, and most importantly the round bead are smooth on her.
They can be metal like these or for really sensitive horses silicone is a great option!
