Most of my clients have dogs that struggle with walking on leash. These dogs are sometimes wizards at sitting and laying down on command, but as soon as they get outside, they're at the end of the leash, dragging their parent around and not listening.

A lot of people label this as the dog "being stubborn", but really, it's just that walking on leash is a complex behavior that requires a lot of finesse to train. Even more so because it's usually done outdoors where there are a lot of things to distract them.

This is something I work on a lot with in-home training in the Salt Lake area and is one of my favorite things to help train. If anyone is dealing with this and wants help, feel free to reach out!
