If you have noticed some extra shedding recently that is because your fur babies are preparing for summer by shedding their winter coats! Although double coated dogs will shed year round, they will “blow” their coat in the spring and fall. It’s important to know that shaving them will not control shedding and it will not keep them cooler. Their coats were designed to protect them, keeping them warm in the winter and cool in the summer. However, proper grooming and regular brushing will definitely help speed the process. Mae is ready for spring! 🖤🌼
