Six years ago today, we lost our co-founder Kenneth Jones. Not a day goes by that we don’t think about him and the selfless love he had for his only son Eric — which inspired him and Cyndy to create Heroes In Transition following Eric’s death in Afghanistan in 2009.

That love endures through the work we do at HIT.

What a beautiful day for some obstacle training! Teaching our horses and riders how to navigate new and “scary” things. Walking/trotting/cantering over squishy cushions and tarps, dragging a log and playing with a giant ball! Everyone did amazing and so didn’t their ponies! So proud of everyone! 💙 🤍 ❤️
