David is flying to Seattle area from Illinois Dec 6th to live with his dad. Anyone interested in female pups, can have them delivered to the Seattle area on that date and they can accompany their brother in the cabin with their human sister. Please private message me asap so arrangements can be made.

They can accompany David in the plane cabin on December 6th for anyone wishing to adopt one living in that area. They are currently in Illinois until their flight leaves the 6th.

DeOhGee delivered 3 pups on September 24th, 2019. 1 boy, David (black, white and tan with white dot on head), 1 girl, Abigale (black, white and tan), and 2nd girl, Elizabeth (brown with black muzzle, black stripe down spine and black tail). They are all 3 very intelligent, sweet and gentle souls that will make wonderful buddies, friends, pocket pals.
Their mom, DeOhGee goes everywhere but the grocery store and Drs office with me. (Except since she delivered, I really miss her company). Their Dad, Goliath, goes everywhere his human dad, Dale goes on his tractor, expecially to work and he LOVES IT, David is anxious to join them... I'm hoping to find these 2 little girls homes where they too, will accompany their new human almost everywhere they go..... They have very happy parents and we are looking for the same for them. Goliath will be flying to Port Orchard, Wa (Seattle area) around December 1st and will be riding in the cabin with a human to avoid the fear of the baggage compartment. These female pups can accompany him but will need confirmation prior to flight, as the litter is currently in Peoria, Illinois. (4 hours south of Chicago). Please contact me asap if interested in having one board the plane. These pups are nearly all Chihuahua with just 1/8 Terrier and 1/8 daushound.

Porter "Bailey" Hinton-Souza Woody 8-30-2000 to 6-28-2017. It comes with much sadness to announce that Bailey has gone to Doggy Heaven after being blessed with his presence for nearly 17 years. He spent his last day doing everything that he loved.... Eating, walking, going to the beach across the street, sleeping and visiting his loved ones. And eating more...(he loved to eat human food). Especially ice cream and oreo cookies. Bailey was AKC registered with 28 champion titles during his 17 years. He had a very loving, emotional bond with his humans, often knowing our emotions before we did. Always there to lick our tears and offer his emotional support during our trying and/or emotional times with pride and pleasure to assist. He has fought cancer a number of times and recovered but it returned with a vengeance causing painful lumps and bumps that we didn't feel we wanted him to suffer through any longer or postpone the inevitable at his age. He will undoubtedly be frollicking through the Meadows with a few of his children that have passed before him. The most recent being his son Luke but only after 1st hugging and kissing his human brother, Jerry Lee Ankeny, who's presence was obvious at the time of Bailey's passing. As well as after, when a monkey (Jerry's monkey) fell from the rear window of the car and a fitting song played on the radio on the drive home. His human dad Marvin Woody is almost finished building his wooden casket and will be burying him on the hill (in a friend's yard) with a beautiful view of the Puget Sound, naval shipyard and downtown Port Orchard. Nibbling deer, squirrels jumping around in the trees and frolicking butterflies ever present. Rest in peace my dear friend, confidant and companion. I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU! MOM

**People have asked why I am rehoming this guy, it's not his fault. His human parents are divorcing and one is living out of the States, and the other had to move with her parents who are allergic to Donovan. Donovan's owner was hoping to be able to care for him once things settled, that is not the case. I am a boarding facility and already have 8 pups of my own. Donovan needs his own human to love.**

This is Donovan, he is a 9yr old Springer Spaniel who is looking for his person. He has been in my care since December, and due to life changing family circumstances, they are no longer able to care for him. Neutered, UTD on vaccines, seems in good health. He does have some tumor bumps that have been checked by the vet, and so far are benign. He is a sweet boy, good with older kids, (he has,not been around young ones). He is great with all dogs. Doing good around my horses. He has lived with Cats, although given the chance, I think he will chase mine. He is used to being with people, and would love long walks as his previous owner walked him 3 miles a day. House broke and crate trained, he would rather sleep in the bed, I think. He can be high energy, but loves hanging with his people. Fenced yard required due to his breed. Located Key Peninsula, Port Orchard, Wa area.

We've heard stories about eagles preying on cats before, but today we witnessed this firsthand. This morning, we received a call about an unknown (possibly feral) cat in Port Orchard; he had been stuck at the very top of a skinny 65ft tall fir tree for 5 days. As we were getting gear from the truck, we watched a huge Bald Eagle swoop in and try to pluck this terrified cat from the top of the tree. The eagle was unsuccessful only because this smart kitty dodged the talons at the last second. We knew we had to act fast; that meant a change in plans. Originally, we were planning on climbing the larger adjacent tree, but there wasn't time and we raced up the skinny tree with a long net, hoping to scoop the cat up before the eagle returned. Thankfully the eagle did not return, but the cat had a desperate grip on the tree and netting him was not an option. We ended up cutting a small portion of the tree-top to reach him. We soon realized the cat was not feral, just extremely scared and very lucky. Unfortunately, he didn't have a microchip or tag and we don't know who he belongs to. The property owner is taking care of him and posting this story on the Port Orchard Neighborhood page as well as posting a sign in the neighborhood.
