Righteous K9

Well, I absolutely butchered that ending. 😂

If you’ve ever had the glorious pleasure of trying to end a phone conversation with me, you already know… the struggle is real. Apparently, ending a video is just as difficult. 🤦‍♂️

But anyway, back to E-Collars, since I get asked about them quite a bit!

And while we’re at it… STOP TREATING YOUR K9 FOR DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. 😂

Tell your dog I said Allo!

Say Allo to Gabby a lab Basenji mix.

History and Origin
• Ancient Roots: The Basenji is one of the world's oldest true-to-type, basal breeds.
They predate modern 19th-century dog breeds and share deep genetic ties to ancient canine lineages.

•Pharaohs of Egypt: Artwork, carvings, and tomb paintings from ancient Egypt (dating back around 4,500 years) feature small dogs with erect ears and tightly curled tails that closely resemble the Basenji. They were often brought up the Nile as royal gifts.

•African Hunting Dogs: In Central Africa, local tribes valued the Basenji as a versatile hunting companion. They worked silently using both sight and scent to drive small game into nets, often wearing small bells around their necks to track their movement in the brush.

•Introduction to the West: Early attempts to bring them to Europe in the late 1800s struggled due to disease, but the breed successfully established itself in England in 1937 (causing massive public crowds) and later in the United States.
