So grateful for all my clients! It’s been a transition moving to a new town, schedule changes, routing updates, losing the storage where I kept my van in the winter… but change will be good! Picking up my new truck next week, traveling to Indiana and driving back. So happy to be able to have this truck at my house & it will be better equipped to handle winter outside. Thank you for supporting my small business & allowing me to do what I love every day!

Grooming Policies and Terms
​
The Natural Groomer, LLC has MOVED!!!! The storage space for the truck in Salem was sold. This was never part of my business plan to change service areas.... BUT I am happy to have my truck at my house!!!! I have been commuting and figuring it all out these past 2 months. SO here are some updated Policies & Terms as I transition to now serving my home town Sandown, Salem and the 111 area. New clients will be taken on a waiting list for the fall. Serving Sandown and within a 5-10 radius. (Some existing clients with be updated with an out of area service change as travel time & gas has doubled)

Appointments are on pre-scheduled basis. The Natural Groomer, LLC will arrive within an assigned appointment window. Should a situation occur such as traffic, road construction, or prior appointments running long, the groomer will notify the next client of the expected ETA. We value the safety of your pets and will not rush grooming in order to meet appointment schedules.

Appointments are prescheduled for the year. We are only taking new clients willing to get on a regular schedule of 2,4 or 6 weeks. The Natural Groomer, LLC provides the day and time of the appointment based on schedule & route. If no one is able to be there for the appointment a code or key can be provided or kept on file with the groomer. Flexibility is a must. If this doesn't not work for you, we understand but its an integral part of being able to schedule efficiently.

Cancellations & No shows
​The Natural Groomer, LLC requires clients provide 48 hours notice in the event of cancellation. We understand things happen that require changes in schedule and we will do our best to work with you on finding a new appointment time. With a full schedule, cancellations may not be able to be rescheduled. The owner is responsible to providing and alternative to grooming or there may be additional charge at the next appointment.

Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in a cancellation fee $50 that must be paid prior the next service. No-show appointments and late cancellations cause a gap in the schedule.

No-show appointments (you are not home) or changing your mind at the time of the appointment will result in a cancellation fee up to the full cost of service. ($75)

If we have to cancel or reschedule for any reason you will be notified and we will make every effort to reschedule as soon as possible. Possible reasons may include illness, emergency, mechanical breakdown, or weather related conditions. Generally if the school bus isn’t running, neither are we. Unfortunately some things are out of our control. We appreciate your patience in these situations.

Health and Behavior Issues
It is the responsibility of the client to disclose any health (including vaccines) or behavior issues. We are not responsible for any pre-existing conditions. We accept well behaved dogs and willing to work to gain trust of those dogs uneasy with the grooming process.

Health issues must be disclosed to the groomer for the animal’s safety. This includes but is not limited to any prior injuries, allergies, medications, hip or joint issues, or illnesses and infections.

Senior pets are 100% acceptable. We will do our best to make sure your pet is comfortable during the groom.

A full service groom may not be guaranteed if an animal is uncooperative or has trouble standing.

We take great care to make sure your pet has a stress-free experience and these policies are in place to achieve that goal. If the animal is becoming irritated, over-stressed, or otherwise physically unable to continue, services will be stopped for the safety of the pet and groomer.

Matting
Matting occurs when a pet’s coat is not properly taken care of, such as failure to brush regularly or failure to schedule regular grooms. Matting is dangerous for the health of the pet and can lead to cuts, sores, bleeding, infection, and many other health problems. The Natural Groomer, LLC will not spend excessive amount of time on de-matting an animal’s coat. It can hurt and stress the animal.

In cases of severe matting The Natural Groomer will shave down the coat to start fresh. This is the least stressful and safest solution. In the cases of extreme matting service may be refused and a service fee will be charged. The groomer will evaluate the animal at the time of the appointment, but we request the client notify the groomer at scheduling of the coat’s condition. No additional services will be provided until this fee is paid. DOODLES are required to be on a monthly maintenance schedule based on our experience.

Payments and Pricing
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash or check and we are looking into other options like square. We can take payment in person or over the phone should you like to pay in advance.

Returned checks are subject to a $40 fee in addition to the service charge.

At The Natural Groomer, LLC we want to make sure your animal is getting the highest quality service to look their best. Different breeds, coats, conditions, temperament, expected length of groom, and other factors contribute to the pricing. As such we do have a starting price of $75. Each groom is unique and our groomer will provide you with an estimate at the time of booking. Upon inspection of your pet, our groomer will provide you with a final estimate.

Fees may apply for the following reasons including but not limited to:
Failure to cancel within 48 hours
No-show appointments
Returned Checks/insufficient funds
Excessive matting
Aggressive or uncooperative behavior
Any fees that are not part of the groom such as cancellation/no-show must be paid within 30 days or The Natural Groomer, LLC will cease any future service

Refusal of Service
The Natural Groomer, LLC reserves the right to refuse service for several conditions including but not limited to:
Excessive matting or parasite infestation
Overly aggressive or uncooperative animals
Health issues that require a veterinarian
Other issues that are either not disclosed or are discovered by the groomer
Mis-represented condition of pet at booking

We value your pet’s comfort and safety and want to provide a stress free grooming experience. If it appears grooming might cause injury or harm to the animal service will be terminated.

If services are terminated there will be a minimum service charge of $75.

Liability Statement
The Natural Groomer, LLC is not liable for any health issues that did not stem from grooming services. The animal owner has disclosed any issues to our groomer in advance. We are not responsible for injuries resulting from age or pre-existing conditions.

Owners take responsibility to ensure their animal is current on vaccines and has disclosed any known health issues to the groomer.

Owners are not allowed in the van while services are being rendered.

Owners are responsible for regular maintenance of their pet’s coat including but not limited to matting and parasite infestation. Failure to do so may result in extra charges.

Something I didn’t know, perhaps you may not know either!

The DEADLY CORN COB!!
Although you might think this is a delicious treat for your four legged buddy, corn cobs could be the cause of you losing your best friend.
Corn cobs are one of the most common yet dangerous foods you can give your pet.
The corn cob does not break down in the acid of your dogs gastrointestinal tract, instead they swell up and block the entire path, resulting in complete mayhem within your dog's intestinal system.
Once in and blocked up there is only one way out, an emergency exploratory laparotomy done by your veterinarian. This Is a high risk procedure as the corn cob can cause severe internal damage.

You might think to yourself "its fine, i'll just cut it up into smaller pieces" NO!!!!!!!!!!. Regardless if the corn is large or small, it will still swell internally and still block your pets intestinal system. So let's protect our loved ones and put that corn cob in the bin, make sure during your summer bbqs none of your friends or family sneak a corn cob treat to your pet, it could mean
life or death to your beloved buddy.

Affective March 31, I am being evicted from my storage place where I have held my truck for seven years. They are no longer servicing storage. I will be looking in the Salem NH Area and around 111 to park my truck and access to water (40/gal).

Come November 1 I will be looking for inside storage 12’ door 24 foot truck heated 35-40° 

Any leads or offers pls let me know.

Truck is in the shop! New alternator, drive belt, new battery for truck and new battery for the back of the house stuff. AND still no working generator back yet.

Looking for mobile pet care, highly recommend Ark. Also, not only do they offer veterinary services for care & maintenance... they also offer End of life care & hospice services. It’s not anything anyone likes to talk or think about. But having used their services for my ❤️ dog. It was comforting to know he was home surrounded by family and everyone got to say goodbye both 2 legs & 4 legged family.

It’s the holiday season, and this is my second day down and out of work. Generator went out last Wednesday. No fix in sight yet. I’ll be picking up my truck today without the generator and plugging in most likely until Christmas. I’ll be adjusting my schedule to make up for missed appointments working around upcoming appointments. Thanks for your understanding 🙏

On a side note: if anyone knows anyone local to salem or sandown nh that works on Onan 7000 generators, please message me. I am currently carpooling/kid shuffling/car & truck switching between salem/sandown & North Hampton to get any generator work done. The guys are great here but closer to home would be so much more convenient, mobile mechanic would be amazing!

As I navigate this new time without traditional school, aftercare programs & possibly camps. I will be updating & streamlining my schedule & routes for optimal utilization of my time to provide quality service with less drive time.

Dear Pet Parents,

Due to the rapid spread of Covid-19 I feel the need to be proactive to keep you, your families, and ourselves safe.

⛔️ If you suspect that you or any family member have been exposed or are experiencing "flu-like" symptoms , have a cough, fever or are showing any symptoms of this illness, please contact me and reschedule - rescheduling fees will be suspended for the time being.

⚠️ My van is only entered by myself and dogs but to be extra cautions I will be carrying extra supplies for sanitation and disinfecting. You may also see me wearing gloves and/or masks this is also a normal practice for me, please don't be alarmed by these measures.

⚠️ To limit the amount of person to person contact I will not be entering anyone’s home, please have your pup ready by the time I arrive, I will txt to let you know I am on othe way!

⚠️ Payments can still by provided by cash, check or electronically. These can be placed in an envelope and taped to the door.

I would like thank my loyal clients for their cooperation.
I am monitoring the situation daily and will remain open unless circumstances dictate otherwise.
