⚡️Most important thing with green horses⚡️

Progress over perfection.
This girl had been one medical issue after the next, lots&lots of discouraging steps backwards, and I even considered just letting her be a pasture puff at one point.

Now look at her, cantered some jumps today.😍

Not that pretty or impressive but it’s a huge accomplishment to be doing this with this horse. Thankful I never gave up on this girl. ⭐️🤍

What to do to help your horses during a heatwave:
☀️

• Extra Salt or electrolytes to encourage drinking
• Fresh, cold water
• Ample Shade
• Cold-Hosing for at least 5 minutes, if not more, and do not scrape the water off!
• Only riding in the early morning or later in the evening when the heat index is at its lowest. Keep the ride low-intensity with proper warm up and cool down.

LEASE OPPORTUNITY. 🤍

Nova is my 7 year old QH/Paint Cross and I am offering her for a 1/4 lease on-property. Lease includes 2 rides per week and lessee is required to take weekly lessons with me. 3 ride days total. Jumping opportunities in lessons only.

Nova needs a knowledgeable rider who is confident and will help guide her. She is sooo much fun and a stunning mover. She has a close contact saddle, and a dressage saddle fit to her. She goes in a hackamore or a soft rubber bit.

She would be wonderful for a rider well-rounded in flatwork, but she also loves to jump. Opportunities with her are endless! If you are interested in showing that’s also an option.

The property she is located at has an outdoor arena, trail access, and is a very chill environment. Send me a message and we can chat further.
