Samson's K9 Search & Rescue SK9SAR assists the community in the San Tan Valley, Queen Creek & Florence areas by helping to bring home their missing dogs.

We do this with the use of flyers, social media, volunteers in the field and humane traps. Our goal is to get all the dogs home!

PSA!! BLACK DOG IN MAGMA RANCH!!

UPDATE!!! We got him!! He is safe! Thank you to Jaime for your assistance and I am so happy we could get him safe for the evening. Will make a follow up post on him later.

We are aware and working with animal control to contain the black husky Shepherd in the magma ranch area! Unfortunately well meaning residents continue to try to capture the dog and have pushed him further away from the original area that he knew. We are begging for people to report sightings to us by text at 480-834-7328 rather than trying to capture him. The public does not need to call animal control again and make another report. We are going to lay a trap but for him to go in a trap he's gonna need to be hungry so we're also asking the public to not put food out. I know your hearts want to help, but if we can't trap him because he won't go in because he's not hungry it does not help him. Very well, trained volunteers and animal control have all tried typical capture methods so this will likely be our only chance. Please be mindful when driving the area and share this message. Thank you!

TOBBY & COCO HAVE BEEN FOUND!!! Story below!👇🏼
Our community is amazing!! A good Samaritan saw the dogs and picked them up and took them home! They kept them safe all day and saw our social media posts late afternoon and called us! I immediately called our volunteer Robin Le Frere who had been boots on the ground all day and she picked up the owners to go meet the finders!! The rest is a tear-jerking happy ending! 🥹 This family recently experienced a total loss house fire and lost two of their dogs. Their mama who does not speak English told me that Tobby & Coco have rescued her family and are her family. That they are angels sent to them to help them heal! 😭😭😭 Helping them get Tobby & Coco back home... there are not words.. These moments is why we do what we do. Huge shout out to Heather Kelly for calling me and making sure this family was made whole again!! Also all three of the family dogs will be getting Microchipped this Saturday!! 🙌 🥳 🙌 🎉

These cuties was last seen near Ironwood & Ocotillo in the Ironwood Crossing Neighborhood. The are shy with new people and will likely takeoff if approached so PLEASE 🙏🏼 do not approach her. We are hoping a neighbor picked them up but we need sightings ASAP!! Call/Text 480-834-7328

Missing Pet Bird!!!
Update 6/7/26 - Cosmo was possibly seen in Magic Ranch Community on the Oasis side.

We need the communities help to call in sightings for this bird. Cosmo is a beloved Turaco that escaped his aviary. He was lost from Crestfield Manor in Florence and last seen 5/28 in the mine just west. Since he is a forging bird there's a very good chance he will continue to move and that's where you come in. First and most important things to help him get safe! DO NOT APPROACH & DO NOT FEED or leave food. He is not handtame although may seem friendly. and if people continue to feed him it will make it very difficult for us to trap him. We need him to be hungry to go under the trap in a controlled setting. It is most effective to text sightings in to 480-834-7328 with a location pin and a pic. If he's hanging out on your property and we can set the trap there that will set us up for success!! Thank you so much!

Jazmin has been captured!! After 7 very long days and over 1000 flyers, she is home!! Check out the details in the video! We can't thank the community enough for sharing her post. We're honored to be a part of an extraordinary rescue. Our director Kim Powell was charged with leading the containment of a very unusual and rare species. A Kinkajou. 👀 Working on behalf of Crystal's Critter Haven, Kim, Natalie Peters from the Phoenix Zoo and the homeowners, Carson Roubison & Ryan Roubison were able to come up with a plan and execute a once in a lifetime rescue!! Joining up experienced skill sets was the key to a safe containment. This cutie pa-tootie does seem to be hand raised which gives us a great opportunity to remind the public that Kinkajous are an exotic species are not meant to be pets. You must hold a Special License in Arizona with Game and Fish to own or to even rescue one not to mention following any federal regulations! Crystal’s Critter Haven will be in-taking this guy to receive proper care as a licensed facility. They could really use the public's help with donations to fund his care! We are currently at the vet now with him and because he has an eye infection and needs blood work the bill already for this guy is $500.
