Odin needs a new home.

He is a 7 years old, neutered, German Shepherd who would do best in a peaceful environment without other dogs due to hip dysplasia. He has a tendency to resource guard females and his food. You can absolutely let your dogs in bed with you and still have well trained pups. The difference is whether they do it with your permission versus without your permission.

They were called up for extra snuggles.

Just a reminder that JCK9 is closed from June 13th through June 22nd. Our limited boarding spaces have been filled for these dates.

We will also be closed again at the end of July 26th through August 13th. We still have a couple of boarding spaces still available. However, we are limited on boarding spaces due to K9 to kennel technician ratios. Safety, happiness and stress free environments are our top priorities. Less kennel techs means less one on one and cuddle time with the puppy dogs.

Doggy daycare is still available during these business closures. Training sessions and our emergency on call services are the ones most affected. We appreciate you all!

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that Bruno has crossed the rainbow bridge. He was one who by far, taught me the most about training. I love him whole heartedly and will forever miss him. I’m thankful I had the opportunity to have him teach me so much. He didn’t always have the greatest life but his parents ensured he would when they saved him and his sister. He was the greatest and I’m thankful his parents had me look after him when they were away and ultimately, kept me informed about him. There’s a reason he came to my life and I believe it was to further my education about dogs with trauma. In the end, he loved hard and he loved his people. Even though you don’t know his parents, please send comforting thoughts and prayers for their incredible loss.

Yesterday was a special day as we celebrated Tily girl's 2nd birthday! We are grateful for the love and energy she brings to our lives and hope this year is filled with even more memorable moments. Tily is a regular for our doggy daycare and has an overnight with us here and there. We truly love her and all the pups that stay and play at JCK9. Just a reminder…… JCK9 has some upcoming closures. This means our reservation spaces are limited drastically. Make sure you book your pets stay well in advance.

April 19th through the 22nd, we will be out of the office 😊. We have limited spaces (2) available during this time. We appreciate your support during our brief closure.

Additionally, we will be closed for 2 weeks in June, 2 weeks at the end of July and beginning of August and another 2 weeks in October. Specific dates to follow.

If you think you might need care for your pup during these times, get in touch ASAP to discuss options.
