Have you noticed your pet feeling nervous during their veterinary exams? This is common as all the poking and prodding might make them feel uneasy. However, it's essential to keep up with these regular exams to ensure your pet's health and well-being. To help them feel more comfortable, try practicing examinations at home and pair them with plenty of treats and praise. This will help your furry friend learn to trust the process and make future vet visits less stressful for them.

Tiny chip. Big peace of mind. 🏠✨ With the 4th of July around the corner and one of the busiest times of year for lost pets - now is the perfect time to make sure your pet’s microchip information is up to date.

Only 6 in 10 microchips are registered. If your pet already has a microchip, we can scan it to help you verify the information linked to it. If they aren’t microchipped yet, our team is happy to help before the holiday festivities begin.

Lyme disease can be difficult to diagnose in pets, as their signs are often vague and nonspecific. Unlike humans, pets do not develop the classic bullseye rash associated with the disease.

We advise Lyme disease testing (i.e., a blood test) for pets with clinical signs that include fever, lethargy, appetite loss, swollen lymph nodes, intermittent lameness, and painful or swollen joints.

Don't wait until it's too late! Protect your furry friend from this debilitating condition by contacting us at 310-832-5327 and asking about annual tick-borne disease testing. ❤️

🧠🏥 Did you know that a lack of physical and mental stimulation can lead to medical problems for your pet? Cats who don't get enough environmental enrichment may develop feline idiopathic cystitis, a painful bladder inflammation that causes inappropriate urination.

🐾🙀 Bored pets may also suffer from excessive licking, hair loss, sores, and skin infections. Keep your furry friend healthy and happy by providing them with plenty of outlets for physical and mental stimulation. Call 310-832-5327 to talk to your veterinarian for more information.
