URGENT COURTESY POST
My name is Travis. I"m a friendly and playful 3 year old.
I am currently in a foster home, but my foster mommy has some major health issues, so I need a new foster or adopter ASAP.
I'm a sweet guy with a sad, but inspiring story. ❤️
I was rescued from the shelter where they were going to kill me because I had a seizure. My rescue took a chance on me and boy am I glad they did. They saved my life!
The day they rescued me I had another seizure. It was tough going in the beginning. After many doctor appointments, ER visits and seeing a Neurologist it was determined that I had tetanus.
After a lot of tears, love and money my foster mommy decided to keep me. I have come so far! I used to have a hard time walking and would have occasional seizures, lock up and fall over, but not any more.
Sometimes my tail may go straight out and stiffen a little, but I haven't had a seizure in over a year and I'm been off all my seizure meds for 6 months.
I'm a really sweet boy with a zest for life! I love playing with my mommy's other fosters. Mommy says I'm doing great now. I play like a puppy, sleep in her arms and eat like a pig. 🐖 I am good on walks and have made friends with all the neighbors. I also snore like a freight train.
I'm hoping for a foster or adopter who will play with me and give me the affection, love and attention a young pup like me so desires. I've been given a new lease on life and would love a person or family of my very own to share it with.
