Special Announcement!

To all of our friends, neighbors, and customers that we have met here at Born in Zorn Farm, we have decided that after 10 years of nurturing our farm, it is time to move on to the next chapter of our lives.

We have sold our farm and we are pleased to tell you that the new owners, Zach Peoples and his family, plan to continue and expand the farm!

We loved every minute of farming, and especially meeting and greeting the families who wanted to pick their own fruit. The smiling faces of the children, students, parents, and grandparents will always remain in our hearts. You have turned this farming experience into a beautiful memory that will stay with us for the rest of our lives. We have seen the same children year after year transition from infants to toddlers to children as they enjoy our farm. We loved making the jams and "sweets" for everybody to savor.

The next chapter in our lives is to explore our beautiful country in our motor-home. We plan on coming back some day to be customers of the very farm that we established. Everything we did on the farm was based on our love of farming the land. We hope that we made you happy with what we have done.

We wish you all good health and great happiness in the years to come. We will miss you!

With the warmest regards,
Jack and Elaine Rosenberg

For the woman who was picking peaches last week and lost her glasses. I found them.
Thank you all for picking peaches and Blackberries last week.

Good morning from Born in Zorn Farm.
As we have said before, We will have a very small crop this year and that is true. Our Peaches are all picked and we have very few blackberries that are ripening in each day.
It may be a nice learning experience for families with very young children to walk up and down our rows to see where Fruit comes from and possibly find a ripe berry or two. That will be our status for the next few weeks until the blackberries are all gone.
No appointments will be necessary if you are in the area you can stop by and show the children around. Mornings are the best time to stop in as it is much cooler.
Thank you for all being such wonderful customers and people who love our farm as we do.

Crop report for Wednesday, June 10.
We still have Peaches on our trees but they are a little hard to find, the “easy”ones have been picked. we’ve had quite a few families here yesterday and the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves trying to find the ripe Peaches. again it is a fun family experience to come to our farm to find the elusive peach. It can be a little high on the tree and you’ll have to get on your tippy toes to reach a ripe peach, or could be more in the center of the tree buried amongst the beautiful green leaves.
We also have Blackberries and as always morning is always the best time to come to the farm to harvest fruit.
After you have harvested your fruit feel free to spread a blanket and have a picnic or a snack next to our giraffe. Take your time and enjoy the gigantic steel sculptures on our property.
Spend some time on our farm and enjoy, we look forward to seeing all the happy families with the young smiling children.

Monday, June 8 fruit farm status.
The elusive juicy sweet peaches are on our trees waiting for your hands to find. We still have Peaches on our trees and if you have one of those reach and grab tools to extend your reach it may be a good idea to bring it with you. We have Peaches on the trees they might be a little high hard to reach but we do have peaches. We had quite a few families here yesterday enjoying the beautiful day and the same is true for today it should be a beautiful day. We do have ripe blackberries but not that many. It’s certainly worth an exploration up and down our rows. Bring the family put down a blanket have a picnic enjoy our beautiful sculptures and enjoy the day. We hope to see you soon. thank you.

Farm report for Sunday, June 7.
We have ripe and ripening peaches. Think of your visit to our farm as the hunt for the great ripe peach.
We have had many visitors here in the past four days and a lot of the “easy” peaches have been picked. Think of it as the hunt for red amongst the sea of green. Lots of green leaves on the peach trees and in there are some ripe peaches. We have peaches that are hard to see, you must look very closely at each tree. We have over 50 trees to walk around and choose from and some Peaches may be a little high and some peaches may be on the inner parts of the tree. This can be a fun family experience of looking for and picking the ripe peach.
We have a few ripe blackberries and also green and red blackberries, for the blackberries obviously look for the darkest color for the ripe ones.
As you may know we are doing social distancing here and our farm store is closed.
However if you are interested in some of the metal artwork that we have hanging in the store you may enter the store in a very small group preferably 1 to 2 people to look at our metal artwork that is available.
Please feel free to walk around our property and look at the gigantic metal sculptures on our farm, great photo ops.
The hours are 9 AM to 6 PM and please come by.
thank you.
