🌟💕First Celebration -�Today Oct 14 is a holiday here in the US, Indigenous People's Day honoring tribal sovereignty, strength, courage and resilience, especially through extreme adversities.

🌟💕2nd Celebration -�Join me in celebrating my soon to be 93 yr old mom is recovering from Pneumonia, despite being in the ICU, getting moved out of there today. She is remarkably resilient. Her vitals are strong.

💕🌟3rd Celebration - �We just found out my Mom's cancer has been reduced by 50% 🎉with the treatment she's been on.
I said to her recently, "I have known a number of people receiving Chemo, all of whom much younger than you.

👉🏼You are the only one I know of who is getting physically stronger each week you are getting chemo - despite feeling exhausted and yucky. You getting stronger is quite unusual Mom." 💪🤩

Come home to yourself with the help of the Mustangs. It’s safe to just be you. All of you.

“I’ve never experienced anything like this,” was exclaimed over and over. “This is new.” “This is how I want to grow forward.”
These were exclamations throughout our time walking with the mustangs in sanctuary, finding the sanctuary within.

One day we watched a couple not in our group stand at a distance from the mustangs, enjoying the beauty, but not interacting with the herd who stayed at a distance from them.

That was on my 6th group I’ve lead with the mustangs at Return to Freedom in San Luis Obispo.

I’ve seen the extraordinary interactions between the mustangs and our participants. The tender sweetness and curiosity. The willingness to engage with us that is so doffeeent from when others go to visit.

Time and again I hear comments from the staff how they’ve never seen this or that horse approaching a group before, never have they seen certain groups of horses allow people nearby….

Yesterday just before leaving we drove up to a ridge to look for some of the herd we hadn’t seen. After stopping to see the breathtaking views, we turned to see the herd…
They turned towards us from a distance.
One Mustang lead the way towards us.

The rest of the 25 - 30 horses following at a walk, trot and gallop down the steep terrain and then up the next hill to come to us!

We were all spellbound at this demonstration of connection, trust, curiosity, desire to be with us humans.

They came and surrounded us, stood with us, and clearly they sought us out. They could have easily stayed where they were, but they chose to come over to us. This is the kind of magic, the medicine and filled with miraculous encounters and exchanges that has become common for our groups.

When I ask the mustangs about our deep and sweet interactions they say this-
“You seek not only to honor us but to understand us not as objects to admire, not as someone who is here for your entertainment, but to walk heart to heart, soul to soul.

Your offerings with us in connection are appreciated. We are curious to meet you and have you follow us to know our world and ways.

We have much to show you for those who seek to inquire.”

Our inner heart connections, openings and sense of inner safety welcome and invite a beautiful, engagement together that goes across species showing us the spectacular sense of connection of what is possible.

The heart healing through blissful joy and authentic innocence is spectacular to experience. Life changing.

As we open into more of ourselves, a natural, authentic knowing emerges without effort.

The wisdom of our higher selves shines through and carries us forward on an easeful flow with the mustangs as lessons in loving and living in positive relation with others.

This is Why I Do What I Do. Finding these inner truths of connection and creating what seemed impossible to come into reality.

Creating beauty within, reflected by nature, and those around us whether they be people, birds, mustangs, or anyone we are interacting with.

We rarely get the chance to ‘Just Be’ ...........Amidst daily lives we are so busy doing, getting things done, finishing things, taking care of things, serving others, taking care of everyone, making sure all is well….

-get mirrored in their gifts, their strengths, their most unique and beautiful essence…or even know what are their gifts and their most authentic self

We had a wonderful class last night with Calm Dogs Naturally. Before learning some of the Basic Tellington TTouches, we went into details to understand the effects of the Five F's (Fight, Flight, Freeze, Fool Around & Faint), the Vagus Nerve System.

We explored ways the Five F's relate to their own animals and behavior, unpacking through many discussions, demonstrations, and graphics about what has been happening,

We then looked at exactly why so many popular methods they have tried haven't really worked.

Learning this information helps you understand your dog's behavior from a new perspective.

Learning why they haven't been able to settle easily, focus during times of stress, connect while stressed, why they haven't been able to respond, and what is actually going through this lens helps you to understand what won't work - and leads us into what will actually work - and why it is working.

While learning some of the TTouches, they got to experience their dogs relaxing but aware. One person said her dog placed her butt in her hands. They get it pretty quickly to communicate where else they want this great feeling hands-on and that it HELPS! They want more, they love it, they appreciate it. And this deepens your connection together.
