This past Saturday at Woods Humane Society, we loved connecting with so many amazing pets and their people! As shown in the video, Armando had the joy of giving relaxing pet massages to some truly sweet pups. 🐶💛

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, said hello, and shared a smile — we’re so grateful to be part of such a caring and animal-loving community here on the Central Coast. 💚

One week from today on Saturday 10/26 stop by the Paws in the Poppies Booth at Wiggle Waggle Fall Festival 🍁🐾 it will be from 12 pm - 3 pm at Wood’s Humane Society. There will be all kinds of activities-including a dog costume contest- and food- for humans and fuzzy friends. I will be sharing info about services I offer including pet massage therapy and, coming very soon, PEMF therapy as well as Red Light Therapy. ✨

Little did I know when I went to massage this fuzz munchkin two weeks ago I’d soon be signing his adoption paperwork. Welcome to the fam bam Stanley Pucci! (Previously known as Duo) 🐾 all the way from the dog meat market in China to my home…we love you little dude 💘 so grateful for all the loving people who helped guide him to me- you are amazing 💕

Today I had the absolute pleasure and honor to massage Duo. ⭐️ He is currently up for adoption through is sweet as pie. Life was rough before he was rescued out of the meat market in China. He is missing his front right leg and a portion of his rear right leg. But the doesn’t stop him! He is playful, loves other dogs and plays with a cat as well. With the amazing work done by Novy’s Ark rescue, Duo has a prosthetic leg being custom made for his rear leg. Today we worked on areas affected by over compensating, relaxation, feeling safe, and releasing trauma.

Why hello there lovely central coast and beyond. 🌼🐾🌸 It’s been a while. Well as you may or may not know I’m a recent cancer survivor. My treatment limited my ability to see my pet massage patients. I am happy to say I have been off treatment now for over 6 months and ready to roll. With Easter hopping up quick, Easter Lilies are abundant at many stores. 🚫 Lilies are Extremely Toxic to cats. 🚫 If you catch a cat chewing on any part of the plant or licking the yellow pollen off of its fur, get that cat carrier out...it’s time to go to the pet hospital.

I have personally experienced a family cat who I caught chewing on an Easter Lily. Luckily, I caught her in the act and got her to the vet within 15 minutes. She still had to stay hospitalized for a few days on fluids, but she pulled through. 💗

It’s official! Dakota is enjoying her new backyard. 🌼 We designed a safe, serene and fun place for Dakota, her mom and friends to enjoy. Her mom reports Dakota and her doggy friends enjoy playing on the playground together 💃🏻🐾

We used non-poisonous plants that do not attract bees-Dakota is highly allergic. Yet at the same time, there are be pretty colored flowers and interesting textures throughout the garden. Dakota also tends to eat little rocks and likes to dig, so we had to use large rocks in the planters. Of course we used mulch in her play area so she can dig there if she is in the mood 🐶 There is temporary fencing around the planters to let all the baby plants grow. 🌱 Those munchkins may not look like much now but they will fill in over time 🌿 Dakota and her mom look forward to entertaining in their space day and night.

Thank you to Gardens by Gabriel for making the design come to life by installing the plants and lighting/electrical as well building the rock fountain and playground🙏🏼

Happy 14th birthday Kaia! 🥳🧡🎈🐾 Love you and your bright, happy personality. You look so pretty in your tailor-made flower crown by Oak Floral Design. So glad I was able to give you a birthday massage-and a new puppy toy of course. I met Kaia 5 years ago at Mission Animal Hospital. Kaia is living proof that laser therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic, physical therapy, and of course massage therapy can go a long way. Kaia and her human mama are two sweet peas in a pod 💕

Can you spot the sweet little snuggle bug? 🐞💕 Mango is her name and she is a 16 year old chihuahua who has come a long way. When I met her it was very difficult for her to relax and receive massage. I used techniques such as calming signals and T-touch to help build trust and tap into the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest). Just a couple months later and she is fast asleep by the end of her sessions. 😀 She also moves better-more pep in her step, interacts more and is physically less tight. I keep it gentle with the fascia and soft tissue work by using methods like vibration, light pressure petrissage and acupressure. It has helped relieve physical and emotional pain she has had for a long time. Her mama also recently added chiropractic treatments with laser therapy. It’s all complimenting each other beautifully 💕🐾💕
