Welcome to Little Wolf Canine Academy Teddy!

Teddy is a Shih Tzu–Maltese mix who I think is quite possibly an Ewok in disguise. One thing is for sure, this little pup is full of spirit, character, and undeniable charm.

Teddy was being lovingly fostered by an incredible family who quickly realized he wasn’t just passing through, he was already home. This beautiful, intentional process allowed everyone to ensure he was the fit was right and as fate would have it, he was!

Something I love about Teddy is he is vibrant, full of life, and has an energy that lights up the room. Every moment with him is joyful, and he brings a unique spark to his environment.

Teddy is lucky to have a senior pack mate Duke, a wise and patient Golden Retriever who has naturally stepped into the role of mentor. Their bond is something special and a great opportunity to practice balanced social interactions .

Teddy is such a unique soul wrapped in the most adorable package and I’m honored to support him and his family as their trainer and guide.

Welcoming the absolutely amazing Chloe to Little Wolf Canine Academy! 🐾

Chloe is a mini Bernedoodle pup and yes, she’s just as adorable as she looks! What I love about her most (besides those curls and that puppy face) is her curious and outgoing personality and the strong drive that comes along with it.

Don’t let her petite size fool you , this tiny girl is a powerhouse when it comes to play drive. Her grip is already super committed and she’s throughly enjoys the relationship of the engagement during play, which of course makes my trainer heart so happy.

This lucky pup is adopted by a phenomenal family and they are completely over the moon in love with her and honestly, I am too!

From day one, they’ve been all in. They reached out for training right away to make sure they were giving her the tools and foundation to grow into the best version of herself. And it’s paying off. She’s already making great progress with crate training, potty training, and is on a solid schedule.

She’s also started scent work, which she loves! We’ve added “find it” games to her daily routine to provide mental fulfillment and give her a productive outlet for her natural instincts.

With her drive, intelligence, and all that s***k, Chloe has so much potential. I’m really excited to be on this journey with her, helping guide her and her family along the way giving them all the tools and education needed has to thrive and reach their training goals.

It’s time for a Special Announcement! 📣 Please join me in welcoming Penny & Pepper to Little Wolf Canine Academy!

Penny is a distinguished Golden Retriever living her dream life as a senior dog while Pepper is a young GSD mixed breed who definitely enjoys bringing the spice with her vivacious personality and silly antics!

Penny and Pepper have both embarked on their training journey to develop loose leash walking amongst learning other important obedience skills. Another big focus of ours will be to replace their dog reactivity with confident, neutral behavior around their fellow canine’s.

We are just a few lessons in and their amazing and super dedicated owner Einat .knot is already demonstrating incredible growth in her leadership and handling. Her commitment to this process is truly commendable and I could not be more proud of her dedication to her new role.

It’s truly an honor to support this pack’s progress and I look forward to all the continued growth ahead! 👊❤️🌟

Everyone please join me in giving a warm welcome to the adorable Maple! 🍁

Maple is a young, pearly white doodle who’s all heart and lives life full of curiosity! She’s already a few sessions into her training journey with Little Wolf Canine Academy and I am loving every step we’ve had together so far.

Her amazing owners Mike and Cindy waited a long time for the right companion. After a long road filled with the emotional highs and lows of trying to rescue, Maple found her way into their lives — and it’s clear she was worth the wait.

Maple’s personality is curious, inquisitive with a beautiful mix of “Let’s do this” working drive that makes her such a joy to train with.

She’s already learning her manners (goodbye jumping, hello calm greetings!), working on threshold boundaries, and we’ve just begun introducing the art of the loose leash walk.

Maple is such a sweet soul and I’m truly enjoying the bond we’re building with her and her family. I can’t wait to see this girl grow, learn, and shine!

I have a confession to make: 📣

I’m absolutely OBSESSED with these two Boston Terriers who have recently joined Little Wolf Canine Academy for training.

Join me in giving a warm welcome to the amazing Charli & Frankie! 🎉👏🥳

The black & white female Charli is confident, sassy, and very sure she’s in charge. However she’s also beginning to learn that the humans of her household are taking over the leadership role and being in the follower role feels best!

The brown & white male Frankie is all classic Boston—curious, tenacious, and constantly scanning for chaos so he can step in and “regulate.” Frankie has such a great drive so I am excited to channel that energy into fulfilling outlets for him to calm his reactivity and find purpose in his desire for jobs.

These dogs are lucky as their incredible owners Kelly and Bryan are beyond committed and ready to do the work. 👏

We’ve already started implementing house structure, crate schedules, boundaries around jumping up (as in new rule; it’s not happening), and threshold manners.

Charli and Frankie are a bit older and proving that age is just a number as each are already showing they are eager, capable, ready and able to make behavior changes and growth.

I must admit I’ve always had a soft spot for Bostons, so this journey is going to be extra special.

Everyone say hello and give a warm welcome to Russell, the dashing Springer Spaniel and Poppy, the adorable Cocker Spaniel!

These two have joined Little Wolf Canine Academy for training, along with their devoted owners Casey and Chelsea, who came ready to learn how to lead!

I am so proud of them as they have already been stepping into their roles with heart, curiosity, and a TON of commitment.

Russell is a true working dog who bird hunts with his dad 🦆. How cool is that! We’re fine-tuning his recall and working to shift his reactive energy around other dogs into calm, confident focus so he can show up as the grounded, balanced dog we know he can be.

Poppy is a little spitfire packed with personality. She’s learning her foundational obedience, leash manners, and most importantly—impulse control around resource guarding. Her journey is all about transforming that sassy energy into chill, happy confidence.

We just wrapped up our Threshold Manners session, teaching calm greetings when guests arrive. These two are already making big strides, and I’ve been having an absolute blast working with them and their amazing owners.

So many exciting adventures are ahead, I can’t wait to share with you all the progress Russell and Poppy make and see this team shine!

I swear… puppies like this make me pinch myself. How did I get so lucky to do what I do?

Meet the ridiculously phenomenal Otis—the newest pup to join the Little Wolf Canine Academy pack!

He’s a 4 month old Pit | Boxer | GSD mix (and probably another larger breed in the mix), recently adopted into the BEST forever home with his amazing mom, Marie.

It’s been a while since Marie’s raised a puppy, so she’s not messing around! She’s jumping in with both feet and making sure Otis gets the best foundation possible with training.

We’ll be working on all his foundational obedience skills, but even more than that, a big chunk of attention will be focusing on building a rock solid relationship with this team based on trust, respect, clear communication, and understanding.

I have to say, upon first meeting Otis I could see so clearly he is a total old soul. He’s deep, gentle, curious, and soooo eager to connect. I’m already obsessed and seriously honored to be part of his journey.

Welcome to the pack, Otis! I absolutely adore you and can’t wait to watch you grow!

What is making this pup so happy smiling from ear to ear??? His absolute pride of course!

Sending a HUGE Congratulations 🎉to the amazing Chip on your recent graduation from the Puppy Foundational Obedience Program !

I am so so SOOOOOO proud of this sweet doodle pup who showed up eager and focused for every session!

Throughout his training series, Chip learned all the essentials to become a well-mannered companion for his family and a valuable member of his community. This boy learned crate training, all of his foundational commands, place work, loose leash walking, threshold manners, calm meet and greets with people, and structured pack walking.

Yup! This pup learned it all and absolutely EXCELLED every step of the way.

But want to know the real secret behind the magic? It was his dedicated mom, Josephine. 💖

She committed to the training process with heart and consistency, practicing daily while managing a bustling household and being a rockstar mom to three wonderful kids. Her effort and mindset played a huge part in Chip’s success.

Every session with this team was an absolute highlight of my week. Chip is not only soaked in the genetics of pure cuteness, but also brought such great energy and focus to every moment.

I’m so proud of everything Chip has accomplished and I can’t wait to see what’s next for him. With his solid foundation, joining the pack for structured walks could definitely be in his future!

It’s my pleasure to introduce to all of you and welcome to the pack the beautiful Juno!

This sweet senior mixed breed has a heart of gold, and I’m thrilled to help her family teach this wise girl some new tricks!

We’ll be working on obedience, solid manners, and practical life skills to support a smooth transition as they prepare for a big move to Europe!

Since rules surrounding dogs and approved tools vary overseas, we’re using techniques that are not only effective here, but also transferable and aligned with her new environment.

I’m honored to guide Juno and her family through this exciting journey.

This handsome young Lab mix was recently rescued by his incredibly dedicated new mom Lia , who’s wasted no time getting him started on the right path with training!

Baxter’s adoption is especially meaningful—Lia has been thoughtfully searching for the right canine companion since her beloved dog Star passed away last year.

With his easygoing temperament, deep engagement, and tender soul, Baxter is already showing what a special dog he is.

I’m beyond excited to work with this stunner and help nurture a beautiful bond and strong relationship between him and his new owner!

Here’s to building so many new memories ! Love you Baxter!

Sending a HUGE Congratulations to Jen & Wyatt for their recent graduation with Honors!!!

When I first started working with Jen, walks were a huge challenge due to Wyatt’s reactivity and the sheer power he had behind the leash. But through dedication, trust, and the right approach, this team has made an incredible transformation!

Our journey began with redefining their roles. Jen stepping into the calm, confident leadership Wyatt needed and Wyatt learning to be a balanced, attentive follower. We reinforced his obedience skills, gave him fulfilling jobs, and swapped out his harness for the best communication tool: a Herm Sprenger prong collar.

With focused pack work, exposure to distractions, and mastering Place as a go-to skill in public settings, Wyatt gained the structure he needed to thrive.

Their graduation session at a busy farmers market was a testament to their hard work—zero reactivity as they navigated the crowds with confidence and ease!

Jen, I’m beyond proud of how you’ve stepped up as a leader and advocate for Wyatt. Wyatt, seeing you walk next to your mom, looking to her for direction in a happy-go-lucky state of mind, makes me smile every time.

It has been an absolute honor guiding you both on this journey, and I can’t wait for the next phase—taking on even more challenging environments together!
