2 months ago, a woman in Tracy, CA contacted me, to help re-home 2 dogs. Feisty, is an adult female, who has been over-bred. Handsome is an 8 month old male. They deserve a chance. The dogs were left with her by family members. She is a low-income single mom. She has done everything in her power to keep these dogs safe, fed & out of the Tracy (high kill) shelter. However, she cannot keep these dogs. Her landlord has given her an April 27 deadline.
I've contacted several rescues. I've tried to find a foster/forever home. It's a difficult time for rescues. I've tried for 2+ months.
Our one viable option, is a rescue ranch in northernmost CA. They have space for these 2. Our challenge is $1000 fee per dog. It sounds like a lot. The funds cover food, housing, veterinary care, rehabilitative training, etc. It's a wonderful place for them.

Someday soon, I'd like to have a non-profit scholarship fund, to cover expenses such a this. But Fiesty & Handsome need our help now.

Danger is my Little, Old Man. He is 15 years old & the most recent addition to my rescue family. He's been with me almost a year. He's definitely the tiniest dog I've ever had. He has a big personality (& voice) to keep himself from being stepped on.

I actually watched Pebbles for a whole month. My house of older dogs didn't know how to handle her youthful energy. They just let her be.
