We are planning our next Jefferson Square Park work day for Saturday March 19, 9:00A to 12:00 noon. Hope to see you all there, to meet our neighbors and to get the park ready for spring!

After the 1906 earthquake, Jefferson Square served as a refugee camp for those residents displaced by fire and collapse. Attached are photos of the camp as featured on Old Sf:

One of the eucalyptus trees on the west side of the park has been overtaken by a swarm of bees. Please be mindful of pets in the area below those trees.
