Spotlight for HENRY who will be at our mobile adoption event tomorrow 💖 He’s healed since his cataract surgery and has a new grasp on living life. Bio below for this sweet boy
Meet Henry! 🐾
Henry is a happy, playful boy around 3–3½ years old who has really come out of his shell. He loves life and is always ready to be part of whatever his people are doing!
Henry is very playful and enjoys other dogs, although slow introductions are recommended. He has been working on boundaries and basic manners during play and has made great progress. He is also comfortable around dogs who may not want to play, as long as he has his person nearby. Henry does well with cats, too.
When he isn’t playing, Henry is a total cuddle bug and lap dog. He loves relaxing with his people, especially while watching TV, and enjoys following his humans around the house to see what they’re up to. He’s incredibly curious and may even try to “help” with the dishes! 😂
Henry loves walks, car rides, toys, cuddling, and being involved in whatever his family is doing. He’s well kennel-trained and does not tend to chew or destroy things. He knows basic commands like sit and stay and continues to work on his manners. Occasionally, he’ll let you know he’s ready for some attention with a little barking in his kennel.
Henry has come a long way since first arriving. When he couldn’t see, he was understandably more fearful and uncertain, but now that his vision has improved, his personality has truly blossomed. He’s playful, affectionate, curious, and ready to enjoy every bit of life.
Henry’s ideal home: Henry would do best in a loving home with older, respectful children who understand how to give a dog space and respect his boundaries. He’d enjoy a family who will continue reinforcing his manners, give him plenty of companionship and playtime, and appreciate having a goofy, affectionate little shadow by their side. ❤️
