For my birthday I would like to start a fundraiser for the nonprofit organization I co-founded 20 years ago. Friends of Roman Cats was started to help groups that spay and neuter community cats throughout Italy. Italians have appreciated cats for a long time. Italy was one of the first countries to pass a law declaring healthy street cats couldn’t be killed. Please help us help the groups that do this work.

We salute all the people throughout Italy who work tirelessly to trap community cats, get them spayed and neutered and continue to support them, finding homes for some of them and continuing to feed and monitor those who live as gatti libri.
