Once a member of this pack, always a member…..got news over the weekend, the youngest of a trio of scruffy dogs went to join the rest of his pack across the rainbow bridge. Even though his family moved 5-6 years ago….I would still get random updates on how the boys are doing. This time, however, it wasn’t a happy update. MacGregor was the youngest of the bunch. One of his brothers was too hot, the other too cold….but little Big Mac was just right. Run free, little dude…the rest of the crew is waiting. 22 years of doing this gig and this part never gets easier. Hugs to your people Mac!!! Tell Seamus and Smokey I said wussup!!!

To the homie, Bob….we’ve had tons of adventures over the years with you, me and the crew. I’m glad I stopped by to see you one last time before you got your wings. You’re a brave boy and you kept it going till your body failed you. We could tell your body was in pain, but you managed to keep going until you were sure your family was ready to let you go. Gonna miss ya pal. We never had one problem, me and you. You’re a good boy. Say hi to The Cheese, Kudo, the Rottie crew, Zora, Ellie, Lucca and the rest of the gang. Until we meet again Bob, fly high big boy!!!

After 4 days of being stuck in a convention center with 54 courts, 6,500+ kids, whistles, squeaking shoes, bouncing balls and parents behaving badly …. I am so grateful to be back on the ranch with these guys!!! Looking forward to more peace and quiet for the rest of the week.

Someone is not happy with me today because SOMEONE assumed we were going on a special walk this morning….but instead we took a not so special trip to the Vet’s to get a tumor removed off of her eyelid. But hey….my bank account had a lot more money in it this morning too, so we’re even in my book!!!

It’s a celebration today and about damn time that this pack got some good news, if I may add!!!! Shiva the dobie got her bloodwork back from the vet today….the chemo worked and somebody is in remission. Party time!!!! Treats all day!!!! Guess it pays to be a stubborn bitch!!!! F*ck cancer in all its forms!!!!

Another pack member got his wings….Lucca passed peacefully last week, surrounded by his people. Gonna miss this guy, not only was he a member of the pack but my next door neighbor. From the day they brought him home, for the next 16 years, I’d open the garage and by the time I turned around…there he’d be like a ninja sitting in front of the snack cabinet. Lucca was definitely a 1 of 1 and lived the life to prove it. Rest easy Lucca….your brother Bud and Kudo and the rest of the pack will find you and show you the way!!! Luuukie Lou….you were a good boy. 🐶🌈🏝️

Well….the bark bus is back in the shop. A compadre was on vacay and lent me this behemoth of a van🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽….the pups weren’t sure what to make of it. I think they were weirded out that they had to ride separately….they prefer the post run fur pile!!!
