Just two days after I took her in, she gave birth to three tiny puppies. Instead of arriving alone and frightened on the scorching streets, they came into the world safe, warm, and cared for inside my home.

The hardest part is hearing that this may not have been the first time—that there were other dogs, other litters.

You didn’t have no options; you chose the easiest one. You could have brought her to a shelter, but instead, you abandoned her.

And yet, here’s the most beautiful and heartbreaking truth: despite everything she’s been through, she’s still so trusting. She’s a gentle, loving mother to her babies, as if her heart was never hurt.

She deserved better. They all do. And now, at last, she has it.

Molly Needs Us Again

Through no fault of her own, sweet Molly is back in our care after spending 8 months in a home.
She was returned yesterday — confused, scared, and unsure why everything she once knew has suddenly disappeared.

Molly had been doing well, but after being bitten by another dog, she understandably slipped back into her nervous behavior. Trauma affects dogs just like it affects people. What she needs now is patience, understanding, and kindness — not judgment.

She came back with a note saying, “she likes to lie on the sofa” — and that simple detail truly broke our hearts. A reminder that she once had a home, a family, a normal life.

Last night was difficult for her. New surroundings, old fears returning, everything changing all over again. But even in her fear, Molly remains gentle and loving.

Italy has taken a major step by allowing medium-to-large dogs (up to 25 kg) to travel inside airplane cabins with their owners 🇮🇹

No more cargo compartments. No more stressful separation. Dogs can now stay closer to their humans—secure, calmer, and more comfortable 🐾❤️

The decision followed a successful test flight and is being widely praised for improving animal welfare.

Of course, not everyone is fully on board…
