Took Lark, Cass and Theo to a lake to go swimming. No swimming happened but we did get them all in the water! Lark was very unsure at first but eventually was happy to walk in on her own and even seemed to enjoy it! Gotta take them to more places like this!

Fun little ride today with my husband and brother at the ranch. Cass, Theo and Lark were good even when a deer popped out of the bushes. Enjoying the ranch life up here .

Horse Ranch Excursion June 2026 was a success! We trail rode, played with obstacles, did some mounted archery and had a blast! These trips are such a pleasure for me to offer and I’m excited for the fall trip coming up! Special thanks to for hauling horses and fixing our AC at the ranch!!

Meet Raya! I just adopted her from a lovely local horse rescue. They specialize in Arabian horses. She is said to be 6 years old and half Arabian half Quarter Horse. She’s a sweet as can be and was such a lovely traveler today in the trailer. I can’t wait to see her blossom! I’m happy to have her apart of the family!

Had a fun time taking the babies Lark and Lucky plus Moon and Cass over for some training. Turned them loose to party a little then rode Lark and Lucky while Cass and Moon hung out, then out on trail and back to the trailer. Such a good day for the horses and their learning!

Lark’s clinic take 2! This young girl just finished attending 2 back to back weekends of clinics with some amazing horseman. This weekend we got the pleasure of working with Warwick Schiller. Lark was nervous being alone but we worked through that with his help and guidance. At the end we were working together much more relaxed. I’ve garnered a lot of great information over the past few weekends and am excited to implement all this with everyone. I love being a life long student.

I love learning from exceptional horse people and teachers. Lark and I had a great experience at the Buck Brannaman clinic this weekend. I’m very proud of this young mare for handling herself in a new place all by herself and with in a deep crowd of other horses. She and I both gained a lot. Im excited to keep implementing these techniques with her and with all the horses I work with. Can’t wait for my next clinic next weekend!

Join me Macey McCallion, Deron Hodge and Lynn McCallion for a beautiful blend of healing modalities in the Sierra foothills. Enjoy peace and quiet on this private 50 acre ranch. We will play with horses, make art, enjoy meaningful ritual and reconnect through mindfulness practices. We are certified practitioners offering equine therapy and art for healing.

Enjoy a welcome reception wine/drinks by the fire on the first night, followed by 2 full days of enjoying the ranch and activities. Monday morning we will offer coffee and tea and have our closing ceremonies. Leaving you with a special gift to rember your time at the ranch retreat.
