Please keep your pets inside where they are safe and warm. Bring them into a garage or a laundry room if need be. 🙏🏼
Gates and fences can be blown open or knocked down with heavy wind and rain and an animal escaping in fear will face many dangers. 😔
My heart breaks with every lost/deceased pet post I see the day after stormy weather 💔

Today starts Saving Senior Dogs Week 🐾❤️

🔹"SSDW is a National Senior Dog Awareness Campaign to benefit Senior Dog Rescues in the United States.

🔹Our goals are to raise public awareness to the plight of homeless senior dogs, the joy of adopting them, + to support existing senior dog rescue organizations in the USA.

🔹At the end of the campaign, 75% percent of the funds raised will be divided equally among the participating senior dog rescues. The remaining 25% will go into a Saving Senior Dogs Week Grant Fund to help new senior dog rescues get started.

🔸🔸The first Saving Senior Dogs Week Grant has been awarded (August 2020) to Daisy Lu Ranch Senior Dog Sanctuary in Camarillo, CA for medical care for their senior dogs.

✨100% of the funds will go towards saving thousands of homeless senior dogs!✨

Dogs love peanut butter! 🐶🥜

But some food companies are adding xylitol (a sugar substitute) to peanut butter.
In dogs, even a minuscule amount can be extremely dangerous or even fatal.

Before you give your dog a lick of the spoon, read the label.....does is have xylitol?
Don't let the dog have it!!!

It can also be found in chewing gums, candy & lip balm as well so keep your purses out of Fido's reach!

If you suspect your dog may have ingested xylitol, go to an animal ER immediately!
