🥳Huey & Ollie have been big brothers for a full year!! They’ve been so patient, rarely steal Carter’s toys (except for balls), and they’ve taken the role of “clean up crew” seriously after Carter’s meals 😉

Carter loves them so much, and I’m so happy he can grow up knowing the unconditional love of a dog ♥️

I’m using carrots, celery, strawberries, cucumber, blueberries, and pomegranate seeds on some almond butter. Yum!

Good gut health results from eating a variety of plants to feed your beneficial gut microbes! Your dogs gut helps with immunity, digestion, allergies, and overall health.

This is Maggie, a 14 (yes 14!) year old Labradoodle! She has some aches and pains in her old age due to arthritis.

🐕Maggie is getting the full treatment of acupuncture, Gua Sha, electroacupuncture, and laser (not pictured). And then she gets to enjoy a treat with her little brother!

Between sessions, Maggie’s owner does Gua Sha massage at home, plus she gets a joint supplement, a Chinese herb called Body Sore, and western pain meds for tougher days.

Her family also made modifications to her environment (raised food bowls, ramp on the outside stairs, yoga mat on slippery floors) to make things easier for her.

Dogs can thrive in their golden years! Ask your veterinarian for specific ways to help your senior dog.

💜 Remembering this sweet girl I saw weekly for acupuncture and laser therapy (hence the goggles 😎) for her elbow and knee arthritis.

80% of dogs over the age of 7 have arthritis! This is a chronic, painful condition that affects mobility, daily activities, mental health, and their overall comfort. Alternative therapies such as acupuncture, laser therapy, and Gua Sha masssge are extremely beneficial for our pets!

Tis the season, so if your dog gets stung, remove the stinger & consult with your vet (especially if stung near the face).

I gave Huey 25mg of Benadryl (dose is 1mg per pound of body weight) every 8 hours and he’s much better today!

Some tips: freezing peanut butter (I like nut butters) or pumpkin purée makes it last a little longer.
has great toys to hide treats like in them.
Snuffle mats can be a fun foraging tool that you can hide small treats like chopped carrots, apples, or cucumbers for your dog to find.

🐾 Now more than ever, I understand that simplifying and cutting through the BS is important for day to day life. This is especially true when it comes to our companion’s health & well-being.
