I am trying to step up my onion game. So I am going to try following the Dixondale onion farms recommended planting procedures. I cobbled together a onion dribbler to set my spacing and row width for the onion sets. Wish me luck this year. The diagram is from Dixondale website. And the dribbler is made from an existing handle, a 2 x 2' piece of plywood ans some carriage bolts, washers and nuts. The spacing is 7 inches apart so I can w**d in between plants.

My squash are doing well. The first row is Table King Bush Squash and the back row is Gold Nugget. Behind me is a row of PINK BANANA WINTER SQUASH (not in the video) that was planted last week. All seeds from the San Diego Seed Company.

I harvested the row that I conducted a test harvest on earlier this week. I am pleased with the outcome. Seed source San Diego Seed Company. Variety; Gold Nugget and a few Pontiac Red.

Scratched around next to my potato plants to see how they were doing. Found this beauty. The plants are still growing well. I'm feeling hopeful for a excellent harvest in a month or so.

From one tray of seeds planted in 8 rows, I transplanted 208 tomato plants this week. Yaqui and Jersey Devil paste tomatoes. Big Beef, Lemon Boy, Lemon Boy Plus, and Early Girl slicers with Mountain Magic cherry tomatoes. I expect to start harvesting end of June or so.
