Thank you to the Petfinder Foundation for awarding The Cat Lounge Rescue and Adoption Center a 2026 Operation Grant! We will use this grant to purchase 28 bags of dry food which will provide nutritional stability for the over 500 cats who enter our program annually, ensuring they receive consistent, high-quality food. This support helps cats like Hoku, Buttered Popcorn, and Mimzy, who are patiently waiting to find their new home!

🐾When you donate $30+, we will name a rescue cat after your ex before they are spayed/neutered. ($30 covers about 30% of a spay/neuter) Be sure to put the name you want in the donation note, and once it’s done we’ll send you a photo of your fixed ex😉 Feel free to be as creative and clever as you want with your names—you get the naming rights, and we aren’t judging!

More than one questionable ex? 💔 No problem—get the closure you need by fixing them all! There are plenty of kitties who need to be spayed/neutered when it comes to rescue work!

We’re back with an update on Princess! 👑We are thrilled to announce that her bloodwork came back completely normal in her most recent tests! 🎉 Her specialists were so pleased by how quickly her liver has recovered. While we are overjoyed to have some good news about her health, she still requires intensive care and will need to have her feeding tube in place until she is eating completely on her own (without medications that help with her appetite). 🙏 She is only 1 pound away from her ideal weight thanks to our team’s hard work! Special thank you to our incredible foster who has dedicated countless hours to Princess’s recovery & care🥹 we know she would not be where she is without your continued kindness and love❤️
As she keeps healing, Princess will continue to have rechecks with her specialists. Vet bills for her care so far already exceeded $7,000 and will continue to increase with her ongoing medical care. 📈 If you’re in a position where you’re able to contribute to her care, we are so grateful for every donation that comes in, no matter the amount. 🐾🩷 Every single bit counts! On January 3rd, we rang in the New Year with our first adoptions of 2026–Bertram & Natasha! We’ve had a pretty successful year so far, with more than 10 adoptions in a week! 🎉 🐱💕 We’re looking forward to many more rescues and adoptions as the year continues! 🥰

Princess Update👑 our sweet girl unfortunately did not improve the way we had hoped with the tube. Because of her continued decline, Princess has to be hospitalized. We are very grateful to the amazing vets and techs who have come together with our Cat Lounge team to provide her with the best care❤️
A massive thank you to everyone who shared our last post and donated to her care! 🙏 As she stays in the hospital, her bill continues to increase, and we are very appreciative of any further donations that people are able to make🙌❤️🐱 for 2 days of hospitalization, our estimated costs are around $5k! (See last photo in this slide) Every little bit counts and every share and repost helps more than you know🩷

We have another kitty who needs help🙏Princess👑 was surrendered with her sister, Dovey, 4 years after being adopted. The return was very stressful for these girls, especially Princess. Unfortunately, she began rapidly losing weight and stopped eating in a few day period. We tried syringe feeding, but she was barely taking anything in. Yesterday, we put in a feeding tube in hopes that we can kickstart her appetite, but she has a long recovery ahead of her🤕
For Princess’s tube placement alone, our bill was $566. We could really use any help in covering expenses like these so we can continue putting resources towards kitties in need. If you’re in a position to give, any little bit helps more than you know!
