Hi everyone! Thank you for your patience with all of us here at SDBHR. It's been an insane 2 months, we have been contacted for 16 rescues in the last 7 weeks. That's an absolute record for us. It's been crazy, and I know a lot of you may have contacted us and we haven't had a chance to get back to you. We apologize, we are simply buried at the moment. We are trying to get back to everyone!

Our most desperate need right now, besides funds which we always need, is foster homes. Our foster homes are all bursting at the seams and we don't want to say no to any Hounds. This senior girl is in Mexico and needs rescue. Until we have a foster home for her we cannot commit to taking her. Please, if you have room for this beautiful girl either as a foster until she can be adopted, or in a foster-to-adopt situation, please message us ASAP!

Bubba - I have the markings of a beagle but ears of a basset! I can be very territorial but it's mostly out of love. My nose can get me in trouble but I'm a natural born hunter! I love to chase birds! My mom has had me since I was 3 weeks old and I think I'm human! I love to use a blanket as my pacifier 💗 My mommy would love it if we could keep contact. I know she only wants the best family for my brother and I.
