This dude. DUKE. kicking ass today. Yeah I softened up a bit and gave him a blanket because he was chilly. His mom totally stepped up and handled him like a boss. was there keeping me in line as well. Always nice to have a great client working hard to help their dog.

Maggie took a little bit of time to get the training figured out. (Perhaps it was her parents). But...the good news is that Friday after our session, we really saw some great progress, and she is exponentially better on leash now. We surely have plenty of work to , as always. THe good news is that we reached the time where it's getting easier for the handler and the dog and it's all down hill from here.

Woofie finished with his On Leash work with Balance Dog Training today. Surely, his work with Jeff and will continue. But, thanks to their hard work and consistency, they now know that Woofie is not only totally capable of being a good boy, but that is a lot happier and calmer now with some basic rules and boundaries. Some people can wait a long time with a quiet house without a dog. Some people don't bring their dog to work as work. That's OK. I can't and I do and I needed to get a new friend and business partner for any number of reasons. Max was the King, and he will always have that space in my (and even some of your) world. Yesterday however...we got this young lady to begin her life with us. Max set the bar very high. Today we begin her journey towards a destiny we hope to one day be the Queen to the memory of his King. Meet the newest member of the pack, Isabella von Lundborg Land. Let's get it started.....

is looking after a dog for his buddy in Hawaii and boy was Woofie a handful. After a brief meeting last year we finally got together and got to work with Jeff helping out. Thanks to their efforts, Woofie has made some really excellent progress and is showing that he can truly be the goodest boy.. It's always nice to see positve results. Thanks Greg Jeff and I will finish up next week and I'll see you when you get back.

I got called to go work with a client this morning who's dog was trained a year and a half ago by Max and me. I got the call because Winston was running wild around the house and barking and assessing threats like a total spaz. He ran to greet me at the door and I walked him upstairs. I asked Winston to lie down and stay. The thing his parents said he hasn't done virtually at all. He lay down and remained there for 30 minutes while I walked around the room training and reviewing things. Then I moved him and his parent left the room.and his kid left. He stayed for another 30...then performed all the commands signals only in silence..... Im not really one for this kinda stuff... but hey Maxie...thanks for showing up for one last session with me brother...I felt it....
