What we know so far: Delilah is a senior girl, at least 10 years old, and she has been fighting so much at once — two separate blood infections, a skin infection, severe anemia, an acute respiratory infection, and a severe eye ulcer.
But we finally have some good news. ❤️ She is responding to her antibiotics and treatments. Her kidneys and major organs are functioning well, and little by little, we are seeing improvement.
Delilah will need eye surgery, but her veterinarian wants to get her infections under control and make her stronger before she can safely undergo the procedure.
She is still in critical care, and we desperately need help continuing her treatment.
Her outstanding veterinary bill is now $738, down from $1,380 thanks to everyone who has already helped. We are trying to raise $700 to keep her care going.
