We cannot recommend Anthony highly enough for anyone, struggling with a reactive dog. From the moment we met him, it was clear he had a deep understanding of canine behavior and a genuine passion for helping dogs and their owners.
Our dog struggled with reactivity around other dogs and people. We had spent years working with other trainers, trying all sorts of methods. We were even referred to a clinic at UC Davis for reactive dogs, where they promptly put her on gabapentin in the hopes that it would help her demeanor– she was only 10 months old. She loved us, but no one else, and managing her behavior became a full-time job.
Then we met Anthony. During the first meeting, she tested him, but Anthony didn’t flinch and knew exactly how to handle her. Within two weeks, she was a completely different dog – so much happier and at peace. To say this experience was life-changing is an understatement.
Anthony has also worked wonders with our second dog. We adopted him from a rescue - he’s wonderful, smart, and full of energy, but needed training and boundaries. Once again, Anthony excelled. Now, Midas is incredibly well, trained, joyful, and can go absolutely anywhere under any circumstances thanks to Anthony’s guidance.
