Today we teamed up with The PAW Mission + our shelter partners at City of San Bernardino Animal Services and spayed/neutered + vaccinated 26 community cats! 🐾🐱✨

💥 One cat = 100+ kittens in a lifetime.
💥 That’s 2,000+ unwanted kittens PREVENTED today alone.

Collaboration = LIVES SAVED 🙌💛

🌟 June Impact Report 🌟
Lange Foundation – San Bernardino Intervention Program

In June, together we made a powerful impact for pets and their families 🐾💛

✨ 116 spay/neuter vouchers issued (11 for community cats!)
🛍️ 16 families received pet supplies to help keep their companions home
💉 16 pets received urgent or life-saving medical care
🏡 7 pets rescued, including 2 who had critical procedures
🔗 16 pets reunited with their families
🤝 17 pets networked to loving homes or rescue partners

🌍 Community Outreach:
Partnered with SB City Animal Services & SB County to support unhoused pet owners:
• Vaccinated 16 dogs & 2 kittens
• Provided 20+ collars/leashes
• Shared food & supplies for 30+ pets in need

Every meal, every voucher, every reunion = more pets safe, healthy, and loved 💛

En junio, juntos hicimos una gran diferencia para las mascotas y sus familias 🐾💛

✨ Se emitieron 116 vales de esterilización/castración (¡11 para gatos comunitarios!)
🛍️ 16 familias recibieron suministros esenciales para mantener a sus mascotas en casa
💉 16 mascotas recibieron atención médica urgente o vital
🏡 7 mascotas rescatadas, incluyendo 2 que recibieron procedimientos críticos
🔗 16 mascotas reunidas con sus familias
🤝 17 mascotas canalizadas a hogares amorosos o rescates aliados

🌍 Alcance Comunitario:
Colaboramos con Servicios Animales de la Ciudad y el Condado de San Bernardino para apoyar a tutores sin hogar:
• Vacunamos a 16 perros y 2 gatitos
• Entregamos 20+ collares y correas
• Distribuimos comida y suministros para 30+ mascotas necesitadas

Cada comida, cada vale, cada reencuentro = más mascotas seguras, saludables y queridas 💛

Fireworks may be fun for us—but they can be terrifying for our pets and local wildlife.
🎇 Los fuegos artificiales pueden ser divertidos para nosotros, pero son aterradores para nuestras mascotas y animales silvestres.

Take time this week to double-check that your animals (big and small!) are safe, secure, and supported:
Esta semana, asegúrate de que tus animales (¡grandes y pequeños!) estén seguros y tranquilos:

✅ Double check gates, stalls, doors, and kennels—make sure they lock
✅ Revisa puertas, portones, corrales y jaulas—¡que estén bien cerrados!

✅ Ensure ID tags are current & microchips are registered
✅ Verifica que las placas de identificación estén actualizadas y los microchips registrados

✅ Create a calm “safe space” for pets to retreat to

✅ Ask your vet about calming medications or supplements

✅ Leave on music or a movie to help muffle the noise

☀️🐾 Cool Tips on How to Stay Cool for the Summer! 🐶🐱

Hot weather can be ruff on our furry friends! Keep them safe with these cool tips:

🌴 Shade is a must – Keep pets out of direct sun during peak heat.
💧 Hydration station – Always have fresh, cool water available.
🚫 No hot paws! – Pavement can burn. If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws.
🧊 Cooling treats – Ice cubes, frozen pet-safe snacks, or chilled toys = summer fun!
🏠 Keep it chill – Use fans or AC indoors when possible.

🐕‍🦺 Never leave pets in parked cars—even for a minute!

Keep it cool and keep them safe! 😎🐾

Why spay and neuter?

- Due to significant increases in pet overpopulation, many cities and counties are now requiring pets to be spayed or neutered. Otherwise owners may face hefty fees when licensing their dogs
- Neutering dogs and cats helps reduce gross behavioral issues such as marking, and troublesome ones such as roaming and aggression
- Spaying dogs and cats directly contributes to decreasing pet overpopulation
- Spaying your pet eliminates the risk of life threatening medical emergencies such as pyometra, which is an infected uterus that if left untreated can be fatal.
- Spaying and neutering your pets helps reduce risks of certain types of cancer such as mammary/breast cancers and testicular cancers
