One design. Three disciplines. Three completely different moods. ✨

This week I wanted to push myself creatively and see if I could build a collection that actually felt alive across multiple riding worlds instead of just making another “horse shirt.”

So I took my original hippocampus artwork series and turned it into wearable performance art.

Western at golden hour.
Dressage by the sea.
Endurance riding straight into the sunset.

Honestly… seeing the same piece transform depending on the horse, tack, light, and discipline has been one of the coolest parts of this entire process.

And behind all the fantasy artwork, these are still built to function as real riding shirts:

Tidewoven Reefborn — Dressage Edition ✨🌊

I wanted to see if this collection could live beyond just artwork on a screen… and honestly seeing it come to life like this feels a little surreal.

This piece was inspired by my hippocampus series, especially the newest pink and violet reefborn artwork, but evolved into something wearable. Functional art for riders who still want beauty, movement, fantasy, and personality woven into what they wear every day.

And yes… performance still mattered.

These are lightweight UPF50 performance sun shirts designed for actual riding. Breathable, moisture-wicking, quick drying, stretchy, comfortable in the saddle, and built for long days in the heat while still looking elegant enough for clinics, lessons, trail rides, or just living the horse girl life full time. 😅

I think this might be my favorite mockup yet. The ocean cliffs, the palomino, the gold sunlight… it all finally matched the feeling I had in my head while creating it.

More mockups and disciplines coming soon because apparently my brain has decided we are building an entire fantasy equestrian universe now. 😂

Somewhere between fantasy art, endurance riding, ocean sunsets, and “what if I just made the thing I actually wanted to wear”… this happened. 🌊✨

Tidewoven: Reefborn has officially turned into full blown wearable ocean mythology and honestly I’m kind of obsessed with how this one came out.

This mockup was built around the trail/endurance side of my heart. Wind, saltwater, long miles, glowing sunsets, tired happy horses, and that feeling of disappearing into a ride until the rest of the world gets quiet for a little while.

The back artwork might actually be my favorite part of the whole collection now. Watching the reefborn hippocampus flow naturally with the movement of the rider and fabric was one of those moments where the vision finally clicked into place in my head.

And yes… these are actual performance riding shirts, not just pretty art pieces. ✨

Tidewoven: Reefborn finally made the jump from canvas… to the saddle. 🌊✨

This design started as a series of hippocampus paintings I've created in the past, evolving piece by piece until the vision finally clicked into place. Especially after the latest pink-maned reefborn piece, I kept staring at it thinking… honestly, why should art only live on walls?

So I built it into something wearable instead.

Designed for riders who want performance gear without sacrificing personality, artistry, or a little bit of fantasy. Lightweight, cooling, breathable, UPF50 sun protection, quick-dry fabric, and made to actually function in the saddle while still looking like wearable ocean mythology.

This western mockup was the very first scene I wanted to bring to life for the collection. Golden coastal light, turquoise water, warm leather, ocean air, and reefborn magic woven straight into performance apparel.

And honestly? Seeing my artwork become something people can actually ride in feels pretty surreal.

Somewhere along the way… my hippocampus paintings escaped the canvas and turned into wearable art. 🌊✨

“Tidewoven: Reefborn” was inspired by the evolution of my three hippocampus pieces over the years, especially the most recent pink reef-inspired painting that completely took on a life of its own in my head afterward.

The more I worked on these creatures, the less they felt like simple fantasy sea horses and the more they became mythical oceanic equines woven from coral reefs, lionfish fins, pearls, tropical currents, sunlight, and deep sea magic.

And now somehow… they became a functional riding shirt. 😂

Every section of this piece was designed individually panel by panel so the artwork would actually flow around the body like one connected underwater world instead of just slapping graphics onto fabric. The sleeves became reef ecosystems of their own, the front carries one reefborn species, while the back reveals a second deeper-water guardian inspired by my older artwork evolution.

But despite all the fantasy chaos, this was still designed first and foremost to actually FUNCTION for riders. Lightweight breathable performance fabric, moisture wicking, quick drying, soft stretch material, long sleeves and a high collar for extra sun protection, because if I’m going to melt into a saddle in Texas heat I at least want to look like an ocean goddess while suffering. 😌😂

Honestly this one feels very different from my previous collections. Softer in some ways. More immersive. More emotional maybe. Like wearing an actual painting instead of just a design.

The worn mockups and animated reels are coming next and I am WAY too excited about them. 😭✨

Three worlds. Same obsession. ✨

This whole collection started as “maybe I’ll design one pretty riding shirt” and somehow spiraled into full blown cinematic horse girl fantasy couture and honestly… I regret absolutely nothing. 😂

So here we are:
⚔️ Western luxury
🌲 Endurance adventure
🐉 Dark fantasy dressage queen energy

And the crazy part is I genuinely wanted these to feel wearable across disciplines while still looking dramatic and artistic instead of the same copy-paste equestrian patterns everyone keeps recycling.

The western version needed rich leather tones, silverwork and enough attitude to walk into the arena like you own the place.

The endurance version had to feel powerful and functional. Like disappearing into some enchanted German pine forest chasing miles until sunset.

And the dressage version?
Oh that one fully embraced the fantasy dragon empress energy and I’m not even pretending otherwise anymore. 😂

Honestly seeing these concepts come alive has been SO much fun and I think this is only the beginning of where I wanna take the brand creatively.
