Today we celebrate a very bittersweet milestone at Los Caballos Veterinary Clinic.

Fifteen years ago, on July 1st, our Practice Manager, Diane, began a journey that would leave a lasting impact on our clinic, our team, and countless clients and patients. Over the years, she has been the steady voice of reassurance, the friendly face that welcomed clients through our doors, and the compassionate heart that helped guide families through both joyful and difficult moments.

Her ability to ease tension, listen with genuine care, and build meaningful relationships has turned many clients into lifelong friends. She has been an invaluable part of the Los Caballos family, and her dedication, kindness, and leadership have helped shape our clinic into what it is today.

While we will miss Diane’s daily presence, we are so grateful for the 15 years of service, friendship, and compassion she has given to our team and community.

Please join us in congratulating her on her retirement and wishing her happiness, relaxation, and many exciting adventures in this next chapter of life.

Thank you for everything. Your impact will be felt for years to come.

Our office will be closed today, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day. We will resume normal hours on Tuesday. We encourage everyone to take a moment today to remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice. We are the Land of the Free, because of the Brave! We will be closed for appointments and drop-offs on Thursday, May 14th. If you need to pick up medication or have a spa appointment for you pet, or as we like to call them, nails and tails, we will have a technician available.

Freaky Friday Warning!🐍🐾
It is officially rattlesnake season. These two dogs are living proof of how antivenin can help. Thanks to a quick action of their parents, Dr. B was able to administer life-saving antivenin. After treatment and care, they are both expected to make a full recovery.
Rattlesnake bites are a medical emergency. Severe swelling, intense pain at the site and in some cases, respiratory issues can be see soon after the bite occurs. Rattlesnake bites are a medical emergency.
We offer the rattlesnake vaccine that can help buy time if a bite occurs. Call to see if your dog is current on the vaccine.

We have a small update we’d like to share with our Los Caballos family.

Dr. Probandt is stepping away from Los Caballos and taking some time for herself, including a break from veterinary medicine. We’re so thankful for the heart, compassion, and care she’s shared with our patients, clients, and team—it’s truly left a lasting mark!

We’re wishing her nothing but the very best as she embraces this time and all of the new adventures that lie ahead!
