TRBA State Show weekend was fantastic. We got to dress up and celebrate the 2024 year! Kadence Strain was 1st in the state for Dutch points! She also won 3rd in intermediate hands on judging! Overall it was a great year and fun to celebrate with all of our rabbit family!

Been a little slow over at the rabbitry. Lots of babies tumbling out of nest boxes and we are getting ready to head to the Houston Stock show. Hopefully we can post some variety wins!

Holy cow San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo was a fantastic day! Kadence Strain won best of breed dutch. SHRECHO then went on win Reserve in Show Fancy Rabbit! What an amazing honor and an amazing way to spend the day of love ❤️

December was a hard month in our barn. Like hard. But the new year has offered lots of new promise. Thank goodness my kiddo persevered and trucked on. We have so many cute babies growing in the barn now!

I need to apologize to everyone who has been asking about rabbits. I promise I'm getting to it. It's been a busy week plus homecoming, volleyball, cross country, and soccer. There are birthday parties today also. I will check bunnies this weekend and get with contacts about availability of bunnies from other breeders also. My apologies but life just got the best of me this week!

Today was a sad day in our barn. We lost the reason our barn is what it is today. Praline (PRAY) fell ill after weaning a litter a week ago and just could not recover. When she retired from showing she had earned 51 legs to her pedigree and was such a force to be reckoned with. Kadence's program would be drastically different if it weren't for Pray. Pray was probably a once in a lifetime kind of show rabbit and we will greatly miss her in the barn. Thankful for the babies in the barn she lifted us and hope they can live up to the legacy their mom created 💔

We have six black dutch babies that are all show quality that we need to move out of the barn. These babies are super cute and would make show prospects for any kid. We just have way too many and the barn is over loaded. Our loss is your gain

Tom Green County 4-H will be hosting a rabbit workshop for students interested in showing rabbits this year. Parents and kids are both welcome! The morning session will be geared toward breeding/fancy rabbits (picking a breed, taking care of rabbits, show etiquette and expectations). The afternoon session will be presented by Jason Platt and be geared toward market/commercial rabbits. (This includes meat pens and fryers). Lunch will be provided for kids ($5 registration fee covers lunch)

We will have breeders there with showable rabbits for sell!

Kwcages will be there with show supplies (travel carriers, cage mats, feeders/water bottles, grooming supplies)

Dutch Nationals was a huge success for Kadence this year! She received her award for being 3rd youth shower for the 2023 year.

SHRSWEET was the best gray buck which is a huge honor for her to win!

She tried something new and showed in a fur show where the rabbit is only judged based on how beautiful and glossy their fur is. She won best blue, chocolate, and gray fur!

Kadence was also reserve senior hands on judging and reserve dutchess in royalty.

We had a great time with Team Texas at Dutch Nationals!!
