My annual PSA: Lilies kill cats! Message from Dr. Amy Cotrille, DVM, here in Sammamish….

Lilies are DEADLY to cats. Even a little bit of pollen, which may fall from the flowers onto a table, be walked on by the cat, and subsequently licked off of the paw, can be fatal! Please do not purchase flower arrangements with lilies in them if they will be in a home with kitties. The flowers, leaves and stems are toxic as well.
