🐾 Staying Home for the 4th of July? Keep Your Dogs Safe! 🐾🇺🇸
Even if you're not traveling, fireworks can be one of the most stressful times of the year for dogs. Many pets who are normally calm and reliable can become frightened and attempt to escape.
A few things we do here during the holiday:
✨ Play relaxing music in the evenings to help mask outside noise.
✨ Use calming spray on bedding to create a soothing environment.
✨ Keep dogs on their normal daily routine, which helps reduce stress and anxiety.
✨ Double-check gates, fences, and collars to ensure everyone stays safe.

If your dog struggles with fireworks, consider keeping them indoors before dark, providing a quiet safe space, and making sure identification tags and microchip information are current.
Whether your pet is staying with us or at home, safety comes first. A little preparation now can help make the holiday much less stressful for everyone. ❤️🐶🇺🇸
