This is in no way to shame, but rather to educate pet parents to really read the ingredients on the treats they give to their pets. Dog "cookies" like this are becoming more and more popular, yet they are the least healthiest thing you could give to your pets. A look at the ingredients list finds sugar in them not once, but THREE times! (4 depending on how the artificial vanillin was made) Our dogs do not need sugar. Also the flour used is not one of the healthiest for dogs, thus the added nutrients. Vanillin is an artificial chemical to make vanilla extract. Even a commentor meantioned how her husband ate one and didn't notice they were "dog cookies," because well they are human cookies masked as dog cookies. Below is the ingredients list for human cookies and not much of a difference.
Please read the ingredients list on the treats you buy your furbabies. "Sweet treats" are not in their vocabulary or diet.
