I absolutely love making beautiful yet functional gear for people. A friend of mine has a client who uses a wheelchair and service dog. They’re wanting a step down from a prong collar so ordered a Limited Correction Collar, and also needed a wheelchair leash. There are very few leashes that meet a handler’s needs perfectly, but I think this one comes pretty close!
The strap with the buckle is adjustable to accommodate various placements and wheelchair frame sizes. This part straps onto the chair itself and has a snap that hooks to the ring on the end of the short leash. This can easily be unclipped to send a dog out to fetch a dropped item, open a door, etc. :) Using it this way, the dog drags the short leash with them to accomplish the task. You could also choose to unclip the dog completely as well! The ring on the end of the leash makes it function like a longer traffic lead, adding to the versatility. ❤️
