Cavapoos tend to be outgoing, loving, and playful dogs. They make fantastic family companions as they tend to get along with children, other dogs, and other pets. Their sweet, gentle nature makes them a great companion breed. They also make great therapy dogs!

As long as they are well-socialized, they are even open and friendly with strangers. Although small, Cavapoos are relatively sturdy dogs, but they can be hurt by rough play. So, interactions between young kids and puppies, especially playtime, should be supervised.

Cavachons tend to be extremely friendly and affectionate. They make good watchdogs, but do not make good guard dogs as they are more interested in making friends. They tend to have a happy outlook and are energetic and playful. Plus, they get along great with children, other dogs, and other pets. The Cavachon tends to retain a puppy-like demeanor throughout their life.

Pomeranians are generally active, friendly, and affectionate towards their family. They tend to have a “big dog in a small body” type of attitude and are often suspicious of strangers. This makes them alert watchdogs. However, if left unchecked, this can cause them to bark constantly and to try and intimidate other much larger dogs.
Poms love attention. They tend to do well with children. Due to their small size, they are generally a better fit for older children who are less likely to injure them with accidental falls or rough play.

Because the Cockapoo is a mixed dog breed, you can expect a temperament along the lines of its parent breeds, the Miniature Poodle and the Cocker Spaniel. This leads them to regularly have a very loving and also highly energetic temperament. They may also exhibit anxiety and nervousness though, making them prone to separation distress when left alone for long periods of time.

Both sides of your Cockapoo’s family tree are companion dogs, which makes them great indoor pups, especially for families. They also typically get along with other pets, but this may vary from dog to dog.

This dog breed is docile, has a gentle nature, and is very loyal to their families. Their mouth has upturned corners that reduces drooling and also helps give them a perpetual smile. They are smart, social dogs that crave love and affection. They can also have a mischievous streak. Sammies tend to be friendly towards strangers, get along well with other dogs, and absolutely love children. They have a high prey drive though, so they may not do so well with other small pets. The Goldendoodle is pretty easy to keep happy. Their coats are good protection in the winter months, while they are fairly tolerant to warmer seasons. Just be aware that no pet should be exposed to temperature extremes, either hot or cold. They need enough space to walk, play as they are very energetic.

While the name of this breed is the French Bulldog, the idea and reason for the creation of it originated in England. This adorable dog breed, which has always been meant to be a companion, started as a miniature version of the English bulldog that accompanied lace workers across the English Channel to France during the Industrial Revolution. Once the dog breed became prominent in France, the subsequent successful crossbreeding of the English Bulldog, the Pug, and the Terrier led to the creation of the modern-day Frenchie.

The French Bulldog breed originally came to the United States with groups of wealthy Americans who came across them and fell in love while touring Europe in the late 1800s. While French Bulldogs originally had floppy, rosebud ears, today’s French Bulldog standards are for them to have what are called Bat ears (they stand straight up). The French Bulldog was recognized by the American Kennel Club in 1898 and is a member of the non-sporting group.
