A dog’s reaction to guests can tell us a lot about their comfort level and behavior. Reactions like barking, hiding, or guarding can be linked to anxiety, lack of socialization, or protective instincts. Understanding those signals can help prevent stress and create safer interactions for everyone.

Polydactyl cats are born with extra toes, most often on their front paws. It’s a genetic trait and is usually completely harmless, just an extra dose of cute. That said, those extra toes can come with a few care considerations. More toes means more nails to trim, and sometimes they grow at different angles or are easier to snag if not maintained. Most polydactyl cats live totally normal, healthy lives, but regular paw checks and nail trims are important to keep them comfortable.

Maggie has officially clocked out after a long day working reception. ☎️🐾

Her accomplishments include:
• answering zero phones correctly
• pretending every ringing line was someone else’s problem
• and somehow still looking busier than the rest of us combined

Safe to say the front desk feels a little less dramatic today. 🤣

Honestly… they might be onto something 😌 Whether it’s saying no to chaos, no to sharing boxes, or no to anything that doesn’t pass their vibe check, cats set boundaries and stick to them.

Today, we had the privilege of helping out a little girls puppy dog, Spot.

Dr. Kirk and Katlyn started the examination then we had Dr. Bear and his assistant take over.

He was presented for the following :
• An upset tummy from eating too much long tail lizard food
• Vomiting because he ate a volleyball at the beach on Sunday (volleyball was retrieved)
• His back leg will give out at times, which required a bandage

Spot had been a very good boy and will soon be back to playing in the mud and chasing baby chickens around.
