Update on this post:

We found Nick a great home with a local couple who are spoiling him rotten. We’ve babysat him while they’ve been on vacation so we still see him. He’s living the good life!

Still looking for a home for this great dog!

Colin has headed to college and Anna is overwhelmingly busy with high school activities, so we’re looking to rehome Nick. He is a seven year old black lab who was our primary stud dog for the kids’ lab breeding business.

Nick is a small, stocky lab with lots of energy, but he’s also a cuddler. He retrieves and loves water. He has lived his entire life outside in the country. He needs someone who has time to spend with him.

If you are interested please pm me. We are looking for the perfect home for him!

Update—we found a family for Peaches on a trial basis. As long as she fits with thier existing dog she will have her new home!

We have retired Peaches from our breeding program and are starting to look for a home for her. She is a 6 year old yellow English Labrador and is the sweetest, best behaved dog we have. She was originally a house dog but has been primarily outside for the last three years. She rarely barks and doesn't get into things or tear them up. Her only fault is that she likes to explore. That is truthfully the only reason she is not staying here as our yard dog.

If anyone is interested in her as their pet, we would love to hear from you. She would be great with all ages from small children to older people. Please understand that we are going to be pretty careful in choosing a home for her. Feel free to reach out and then we can talk to make sure she is a good fit for your family.

Update—he has a home PPU!

And then there was one…his brother is headed for therapy dog training and our geeen collar boy is the only pup left from our Darling x Mike cross. He’s 9 1/2 weeks old and is a sweetheart. I think we’re going to start calling him Hal (for Hal Jordan, the alter ego for Green Lantern). Message me for more info on this sweet boy!

Last three available boys—will be eight weeks this Thursday. All three are excellent pups with good body structure and easy personalities.

Green collar—this sweet boy wants to be held and cuddled. He will play with his siblings but is happiest with his people.

Orange collar—this fellow is super playful and loves to tug a rope or chase sticks.

Gray collar—this pup can amuse himself but likes to check in with people for quick cuddles.

Seven weeks old this week and going strong! We’re down to four males, three black and one yellow. None are a dominant puppy. Personalities are:

Green collar—hangs close, needs attention and reassurance, very playful
Silver collar—more independent but calm
Orange collar—slightly larger than the others, nice even personality pup
Light blue collar—he’s the only white in the litter and a total baby. He will cuddle in or go limp in your arms.
