Harper Equestrian Harper Equestrian is a small, private facility located in Salisbury, NC. Harper Equestrian is located in Salisbury, NC and is owned my Morgan Whitehead Harper.

We are currently undergoing expansion, and in the future, will offer full board with ample turn out, lighted 100x200 arena with jumps, and a round pen. Morgan is the primary instructor and travels to surrounding areas to teach. Her students are all ages and skill levels, and compete in several disciplines (eventing, show jumping, dressage, fox hunting, Pony Club, and pleasure riding). Morgan's phi

losophy is that a balanced, confident rider produces a balanced, happy horse. The focus is on building a strong foundation (secure base of support, relaxed seat, and quiet hands) while encouraging the development of a "thinking rider." An important part of the instruction process includes identifying and setting goals, then developing a plan to help the rider be successful in reaching those goals. She is available for private lessons, day clinics, coaching at shows/events, and weekend-long events.

I am back! This past week was spent coaching the show jumping teams at USPC Championships East at TIEC. The teams took top placings in ALL divisions, including some individual awards, and I was honored to receive the Judy Thayer Coaches Award.
Now that summer is winding down, I am working on my clinic and lesson schedule- please let me know ASAP if you would like to get something on the calendar!!

This is worth mentioning- even with all of the wet weather, the jump field has help up beautifully for lessons! Other than that, we're still plugging away.

We'll be opening the farm up for lessons this fall after we rework the dressage ring, and we do have lights! We're hoping to have them in working order before the time change, so we'll be able to work after dark :)

We are so excited to let you know that we have a new home base! The new farm is in Salisbury, NC and we're working hard to get everything set up and ready for lessons. It's a long process, but we're looking forward to being able to welcome our clients!

The March calendar is almost completely full! We had great clinics (and weather) this weekend; next weekend is Vancouver; CHP and a clinic the following week; the month finishes with SJ rally in Camden- I'm already exhausted ;)
